Probably ALOT less than the wages that the muppets that play for England are on. They can peform well for their clubs but stick em in an England shirt and most play like a bag of crap.

Please define who these has-beens, never will be's and dead wood's are at BDTBL and then we can come up with a sensible guess. Without knowing which players your suggesting its impossible to guess an amount because the debate would then be about which players you mean........

For me Gillespie should be gone (but then again, he soon will be....)
The only one other than that is possibly Hendrie....who no doubt is on good money and not even getting a look in (although i understand he's injured at the minute) but I'd love to see him given another chance! The thought of Howard, Hendrie and 1 other in the middle of the park is potentially very good.....

Hendrie, Gillespie and Carney. I reckon there is £25k going out the club a week on those three.

First one off the books for me would be Carney who has generally been awful since he has been here and is up there with the very worst players i have seen for United.

Gillespie is now past it and now running down on his career whilst i think Hendrie deserved another final chance at the start of this season and is someone i think could still do well for us

Webber's getting a lot of undeserved stick at the moment.
Quinn works very hard every game and plays well most of the time.
Monty may not be getting a look in at the moment but does a good job when he does.

Geary isn't going to get a look in with the players ahead of him and Carney & Hendrie & Gillespie are more or less fringe players at best nnow with the squad we have so wouldn't be a great loss if they went.

Something like hod-carrying or labouring is more suited to Monty's wide ranging talents than professional football.

It must now be 18 months since Monty had a good game for us.

I wish people would get off the 'Monty's a donkey who can't pass and is rubbish' bandwaggon and actually watch what he does when he's on the pitch.
He may not be the best technically but he can pass and he can tackle (Which is more than can be said for some players who are seen as world class 'Scholes being one').
He gives 100% all the time and his head never goes down.
I'd pick monty as a defensive midfielder to stop a dangerous attacking midfielder everytime if given the choice.

Completely agree Sensi. I actually thought he might have come on for Spring on Saturday, because we were being pulled apart in midfield.

We have Howard now and so we don't need Hendrie.

We have Cotterill and Dyer so Keef wont get a look and he is pretty much past it now.

Carney just hasn't impressed really and I doubt will feature much at all this season.

Monty well he just needs to move club or get a job serving pies behind the counter.

well your opinion i guess, he was one of the main components of our great run towards the end of last season, and has got 3 or 4 assists and not played many games this season,

like him or not, he will always pose a threat when on the pitch
