I don't like the theatrical dives either but a ref can't pick up on the consequence and ignore the original offence.

Again, maybe there was no contact and the ref was right, I'd like to see it again.

No, just going from my original view - I was on John Street bang in line with it.

Che certainly react like he had dived, most players are usually very sheepish when they know they've done wrong.

I know photos don't always tell the story but why on Earth would he dive in that position?

I don't think he'd overrun the ball or otherwise lost control. He shoots. He scores.

I don't think I'd hang the defender on that evidence but I'd certainly award substantial damages in a civil case.
