Problem is, it is like him, he's good, but he makes plenty of questionable decisions.

Considering he's been very reliable recently, he was all over the place last night.

To be fair to him and the other defenders their attacking options are imo prem standard with their pace and finishing

Doesn't help when your midfield pases the ball to them and the midfiled vanishes for the 2nd half

I don’t think he’s got the bad back pass against Leeds out of his system, looks very edgy and nervous since after being our most consistent defender the previous months.

Phillips outpaced him and then gave him a little shove as he stretched for the ball and was off balance. That’s why Phillips has played quite a bit in the PL and Egan hasn’t.

I think he just struggled against quality, pacey forwards who were getting good service from a quality midfield and combining well. If he plays like that against Ipswich, I’ll be worried.
