What a complete Twat Warnock is.

Why doesnt he just shut the fuck up and get on with his job? i.e keeping us up.

Why the abuse??

He was probably just answering a reporters question.

I have to say that i'm disappointed that Neil has chosen to make these comments, regardless of the context of the interview.

I wasn't happy with the circumstances surrounding Man Citys victory over middlesboro but these things happen; if we win our games then it doesn't matter what the other teams do around us.

I fear that he is in for another pounding by the media.

I'd suggest thats what he's trying to do... putting media focus on Southgate ahead of their clash with his other big mate Alan Curbishleys struggling team.

Yes but it never works and no doubt west ham will go on and beat boro.

What doesn't work? there will be focus on Southgate meaning any decision to leave out any of his better players against the Hammers, will be seen rightly or wrongly in a bad light.

If Southgate has had any intentions whatsoever of helping his mates out, then he'll now think twice.

West Ham could well win, its a football match between two teams, I don't think any professional manager thinks that making a comment when asked a question by the press will ensure another team loses.

Maybe twat was a tad harsh then!

But why on earth does he feel the need to say stuff like this? Its moronic.

Well warnock dosnt need to comment on other teams. Its not his place to say who southgate should and shouldnt have in his team. Warnock wants to be concentrating on who the f**k will fill Hulse's boots. Not which team shouldnt be resting players. No one in this league will be looking to do us any favours and no doubt southgate may rest players again if they beat Man U.

Southgate didn't do anything wrong, but these comments could easily back-fire if Southgate decides to be spiteful...

He doesn't need to do a lot of things but he does.

What's wrong with making his feelings public news?

And why should he blank a journalist asking him questions?

never liked the bent nosed buck toothed prick tyhe miore knocks and abuse southgate gets the better

Warnock didn't have too much of a problem with Mourinho resting Ballack and Drogba against us, did he?

Well I saw Ballack score against us in the 58th minute.

Drogba also came on.

Viduka did come on for Boro but the other 2 didn't make the squad.

Sometimes these things work sometimes they don't, if that is the intention which I do doubt. I remember a similar comment by Alex Ferguson a few years and Keegan lost it big time (Id luv it, really luv it etc etc.) did the job and gave him the psychological edge over Keegan for the rest of the run-in.

Personally I don't think Warnock is that intellectually astute, he tends to fire off and think later. Having heard it, he is responding to a question and there doesn't seem to be anything calculating in the delivery of it.

Take those two out of the Chelsea starting lineup and you can replace them with other world class players.

Take those 3 out of Boro and you have to replace them with average to lower premiership players at best.

He shouldnt say stuff like this because he is the manager of a PREMIERSHIP football club!

I dont get the man, makes you wonder what goes on inside his head.

According to Southgate he wasn't the only one saying it.

Was just about to post that, the usual collection of muppets who read news stories and make a presumption of fact.

Its a joke.

The main muppet is the guy who wrote the thing in the first place - Jonathan Nobody.
This argument has been brought up time and time again (Wasn't there a similar incident involving West Ham and Portsmouth last season? Can't remember the exact details...) but this guy has chosen this time for his few seconds in the limelight and a chance to have a right good dig at Warnock, without knowing facts.

I've just had my say on there but I doubt they'll print it. No doubt wasting my breath anyway

I dread to think what would have been said of Warnock had he been manager of Boro and come out with comments such as
"In the heat of the moment, everybody is entitled to a reaction...In that situation, we would all love to do that..." ...after Morrison's straight-red-worthy tackle on Ronaldo
Funny old world

Ah ha, BBC Sport's Jonathan Stevenson's reason is now clear...

"As a Forest fan he absolutely infuriated me after the first leg of the play-off semi-final when he condemned Michael Dawson for his red card, though most Forest fans were hoping he would get one of the yellow cards rescinded and be able to play in the second leg.

Whether Warnock's outburst helped keep Dawson out is impossible to say. But he's made a habit of getting involved in controversies that are really nothing to do with him."

So Dawson getting a red card and banned is also Warnock's fault?
Grudge-bearing fool

I was commenting on the principal of the matter which is resting players. Did Mourinho rest Ballack and Drogba? Yes he did.

but like I said earlier... the difference is, Mourinho has World Class replacements to play in his place. Southgate doesnt :)
