Foxy, he knows that will happen. He has been in the business for over 20 years and almost a full season in the prem.

If the motivation for the outburst was to try and make sure that Middlesboro didn't do the same selection wise against West Ham it was at best a clumsy way of doing it and at worst completely counter-productive! Put yourself in Southgate's position and ask yourself what you'd do now, I'd be playing the chuffing under 15s!! Can't hide behind the twisted meaning and hidden agenda in the media idea, because Warnock has been in the game more than long enough to realise that is the reality.

I pretty certain I know what was trying to be achieved, but it was never going to succeed in that way. Of course he might just have been just blasting away his frustrations and there was no agenda to it!
