For someone with Michael Owen's hamstrings and an agent with ideas above his station I don't feel like I miss him too much!

WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT, come on we are bottom, looking like going down, we should be keeping players that can score a goal or two, not praying some 2nd rate team take them off our hands. Once we sell we will not have the money to replace him, because the board will have to cut spending.

If he's fit for say 20 games then we'd maybe get 5 goals from him! 5 goals from a big salary doesn't make sense to me!

Agreed. We'll keep Slew for a few more months yet

He's scored 9 goals for us in 65 appearances. Scoring a goal or two seems to be his maximum potential.

He looks as threatening as a kitten washing its paw.

he's the best player since james beatie, he's fast so he can get the balls we randomly kick to anywhere

Derby's on-loan striker Jamie Ward is keen on securing a permanent deal in the summer.

The 24-year-old is on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season and has notched three goals in the last six games.

His last two performances earned him man of the match awards and he admits he would like to stay Pride Park.

"I love it here," Ward told the Derby Telegraph. "I can't fault anything. The club is brilliant, the manager has been brilliant with me and the lads have been brilliant too.

"I'm happy, I'm playing football again and it's a massive club, to be honest. So I would like to stay, given the opportunity.

"It's just a case of getting to the end of the season and then we'll know an awful lot more."

He's then so bad that he can't do anything other than shin the ball into touch, assuming his hamstrings haven't given up on the chase. If we get our money back from Derby then we're laughing.

He can go and take his list of frequent injuries ,and talent for picking up cards either colour along with him just make them pay a good fee and get rid of his overpaid wages.

Is that template used by every footballer seeking a contract and a love-in with a new set up mugs ?

What and the like's of Evans and the rest are the answer.

What and the like's of Evans and the rest are the answer.

Jamie Ward 11 in 68 games (21 as a Sub)
Ched Evans 13 in 73 games (20 as a Sub)
Cresswell 19 in 69 games (8 as Sub)

Not sure of the total minutes on the pitch though :)

See stats below to prove he's the least effective of all the strikers.

I had 9 in 65 as the other 2 goals were in 3 cup games.

I included all games, I think if you were able to get a total minutes on the pitch we'd get a better idea about Ched. Until Micky came in, he was subbed off in almost every game he started. The same happened for Billy.

Since he's been playing under Micky, he's started and finished games which seems to have had a better affect on his confidence

I thought Ward going to Derby included the fact he was signing for them next season any way?

His and our other "goal threats" stats are so bad it's painful. Although I think the decline of Cresswell this season has been the most shocking!
