Could this work out for the better for us?

Both clubs have lost/are losing their manager. Both Dean Smith and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have done fantastic jobs at their respective clubs and have built them up to what they are today. Losing them will be a big thing for both clubs i'm sure.

It depends on who comes in and what they try to do. Take Brentford for example. Mark Warburton did for Brentford similar to what these two guys have done at their clubs. They then end up getting shut of him and end up with their 3rd manager in 6 months.

If the new guys come in and carry on what DS & JFH have started then they could carry on with their great form and start to the season. If they come in and try changing things straight away, this could have an adverse effect on them... Look at David Weir

Friend of mine's a Burton fan, says a lot of Burton fans are resigned to seeing JFH leave the club. Apparently JFH still lives down south and that could be the clincher. As for Clough, he's still held in high regard at the Pirelli and a lot of fans would welcome him back. They still have flags with his picture on displayed on matchdays.

How about we start a "Clough IN" campaign on behalf of Burton Albion ..........

We've then got somewhere for at least 15 of our crap players to go ..... I doubt that anywhere else above the Conference would have them so we're stuck with them until their contracts run out !!
