Waghorn takes a fantastic corner. Despite Fleck's undoubted ability, he generally doesn't. It would be lovely to score more from corners and Waghorn would help with this.

If this is true, I'd be amazed that Liverpool would let such a prospect leave. This would be the signing of the window without a shadow of doubt.

Maybe they can't offer him first team football and that's what he needs to progress his international aspirations. He's seen the way Brooks progressed under Wilder and believes this is a good platform to springboard his career. Game time, recognition, learning in the men's game, shop window.

I don’t like the notion that if we don’t get Waghorn we will just sign a player like Gallagher or Bradshaw because that’s not how wilder works. Neither of those players playing alongside whoever would improve how we play as a team

Differnet sort of players mate, and I'm not too sure Bradshaw is much different to what we already have.

I am concerned that none of the forwards we're being linked with are particularly pacey though.
