Same as last time, not a call for a sacking just yes or no has the poll changed from Yes 60% to 40% No last week?

I'd be very interested to see the difference in results when we've had a couple of wins.

To see that we need a couple of wins, not achieved that for a while

70/30 today vs 60/40 last week but early days yet

Agree, tiresome, and the timing of a poll directly after a game in which we draw seems contrived. But I guess it pleases those who see a poll as indicative of thousands of people rather than a few interested posters.

McCabe , the board , and the prince cast there vote all things Clough , along time ago ,and it was a positive vote of confidence , and appears to remain so.

However if someone from the board , comes out and airs that publicly , that could signal the kiss of death.

Are we going to have a poll after every game now ?

No, just this out of interest to see if people's perceptions change game to game. Said last week I would do one more to see the effect. Not scientific just curious. 240 votes cast last week =60/40 in confidence. This week 40/60 so far but only 48 votes.

There are a lot who are tired of silly polls set up by the Forum's clown and dont bother to take part!

And how do you gauge the opinion of those who have a strong point but refuse to vote in such polls?

I can't, it's just an opinion, vote if yer want don't if yer don't want.

I no longer think Nigel is for the job, however I think he deserves to finish this season before he can be fully judged.

I think if we don't go up this will go down as my biggest disappointment of a season in my 40 years, considering the end to last season.

Considering this season had the Southampton performance in it, I am gob smacked by the selection tactics and intent of this team. Normally I think you could put your finger on it, However it's more than that and I need many fingers.

Sorry but when a manager comes out and says "it's a good point away from home" when you are supposed to be going for promotion then this man has low expectations. That's not what I want to hear after a disappointing away draw.

He meant it was better than a defeat. Does that sound better?

So after every game then?

How about wording it "yes" and "no - explain who would be better in the thread", then disregard all no votes that don't do that?

How incredibly rash of everybody to right Clough off.

He is the best manager I can remember us having since I started watching (circa 1997). Yes - slightly disappointing season, but this is a balanced man, with an intelligent footballing brain, that clearly connects with his players on a personal level (vast majority have bought into his philosophy). He has also been steadily improving us despite having a board that didn't back him properly in the summer and sold players from under him. He took us to Wembley last season and has taken us to the Semi-final of the League cup this season (we are a league one club?). Also worth mentioning the wholly dignified way he handled the Ched Evans debacle.

As it stands we are still in the play-offs, and have as good a chance as anybody if we manage to stay in those spots. Yes - the form must improve, but he knows, and he will rectify it.

One slightly dodgy season doesn't make a bad manager, never mind one bad run.

Especially for you..........
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far

42/58 yes/no split but understandably only half the respondents at present.

It might be more interesting if the vote was "Will you buy a season ticket next season or not after what you've seen this season"

No point H like me most ST holders will renew out of blind faith, what's the option?

I would imagine drops in attendances would be more attributable to on the day/match by match impulse buys not be as prolific. I would hazard a guess that the cup runs have helped with people wanting to keep their loyalty points up for semis and play off games.

If we end up in this division for another season I fear we will start to get used to it and see the Championship as our ultimate quest rather than the PL.

Don't you love farce?
My fault I fear.
I thought that you'd want what I want.
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns.
Don't bother, they're here.

I despair everytime I see that fucking clown avatar.
Quality
Been chuckling to myself with that post on my way to work.
