The Football Supporters' Federation Award nomination have opened. There's been some great content made by Blades in 2018 and it's up to you...and me and anyone interested...to nominate their favourites.

If you click this link you could... nominate S24SU, Dem Blades Blog, Roy's View From, Ball Sup, View from John Street, United View or Up the Blades for the '2018 Fan Media Award'. In fact, you can nominate 3x websites...it's Question 8 by the way (don't forget to include the URL).

There is also a club podcast award (question 6) for which I have nominated BladesPod three times...I don't know if this is allowed...but I've done it.

If you're reading this, you should surely take the time to vote for this site and, if you've read any of the others, give them a vote too.

Its a cracking idea.

I would suggest that we all vote for the same person/group so the vote doesn't get split.

However that would involve difficult choices, so maybe a 'primary' poll could be set up on here?

Though the problem is all you've mentioned deserve great respect and its cruel if someone gets only say 5% of the vote.

Perhaps Foxy could make it anonymous or something? (no worries if too busy, really appreciate the work on this site)

You can nominate 3 times per category. I think that's enough for everyone to stick their favorites in? Even if the vote is split, it still goes to a panel I believe.

I quite agree - but it's a rule that they need to be an independent site...as I understand it! I have told Deadbat to gerritonawordpress.

My vote, this year at least, goes to S24SU. Foxy and Linz provide a platform that has helped enable several of our other possible nominees. And while Foxy may not be very good at stuff like delivering sacks of protest letters from fans--ok, from one fan--to the club, we all know that there isn't an independent supporters' site anywhere in the whole damn country that than can rival this one, right?

BB knows in depth stuff about other clubs though, he did a Championship review and named the 3 most significant players of United - spot on, try that for any other club in this league!
