Steady on!!! That's a bit controversial in my view. There are plenty in Bradford (including Bradford City fans) who know that Bradford FC is actually the proper name of Bradford (Park Avenue).

Didn't they become Northern & a splinter group form Park Avenue? Probably a bad example though ;-)

Yeah, they're ok Wigan fans. They gave us a lot of support during the Tevez saga and Dave Whelan was thoroughly disgusted and made his feelings known quite robustly

I think that's right, they did.

But their old programmes always said "Bradford versus", and the newspapers always referred to them simply as Bradford.

This old Bradford City programme for example says "Bradford City vs Bradford"
