First trip there and I have to say I like it a lot. Good old feel to it but they’ve clearly put some work into it over the years to ensure it’s looking its best, in contrast to the rust bucket we’re visiting next.

The journey back was a farce, but by the sounds of it West Midlands Trains were the cause of that, arranging a football special for a time when few could actually get there in time for it.

For me, WBA are not and last night were mot a poor side, quite the opposite and when they attacked they did look a threat, but we just handled them well defensively and were always a threat!

Baffling? I’ve just watched all of it and other than them being a bit fence-sitting on the Gayle dive I think they’ve called all of that spot on. Very complimentary about us, and very aware to the problems we exploited. What comments did you mean?

I felt like we were at them from the off.

They mention how defensive we were a couple of times. Don't agree we were.

Sharp could have scored with his header

McG could have pulled it back for Sharp instead of shooting

Their keeper made a great savd from Johnson.

Madine should have worked the keeper at the end

Theres 4 chances alone off top of my head, as well as the goal.

They mentioned the home atmosphere was good before kickoff. If they hadn’t have said those words I’d agree that was nonsense. They didn’t make out the atmosphere was good once the game had started.

They also mentioned we had plenty of chances – specifically referencing Wilder’s own comments post-match.

Again, not much wrong with what they said in my opinion – a bit downbeat, but that’s pleasingly understandable.
