Looks like there are Wednesday fans as petty and sad as some of our lot.

Honestly, I watched it while chatting to my friend group on Whatsapp who are a mix of Blades and Wednesday. We goaded them a fair bit, had a bit of a laugh and went about our day. No hard feelings.

The idea of being genuinely worked up over it for days on end and feeling genuine hatred for people seems really silly. Reading some of those comments though, I can see why Blades fans get sucked into the silliness of it.

It's all just a bit of a laugh at the end of the day though. More important things in life etc.
 
To this day I fondly remember the pig who came up to me at the bar in Prague in 2017. I'd watched us beat Chesterfield, minding my own business.

At the end of the game, lad comes up and gives a, 'Done well this season, but it'll be different next season. Huge step up in level.'

I think my response was, 'maybe'.

Wherever you are lad, fuck you...again.
 
Surprisingly, no comments about how they only lost because Patterson was booked. As if it's somehow unfair that he can't run around fouling people for 90 minutes

No comments about how tactically inept their future Champions League manager was either

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT ;) He only told them some home truths . They tell us he lacks class . Per haps we should show some class Sheffield 6 style like taking the piss out of Billy after his son died or laughing at the young Sunderland boy who died or perhaps laughing at an away supporter who died in the stands or perhaps taking the piss after George was found dead . Yes very classy . We have the best club the best owners the best ground the best academy the best manager the best team the best training facilities (which are going to get better) ALL TRUE. FACTS ARE NOT LIES . Sooner they accept these Facts THE BETTER THEY WILL FEEL. Not our fault they have been run into the ground .We just sit here and laugh at them .Best entertainment ever ,we should thank them really .🤣🤣🤣

I'm not sure why I clicked on the link, hearing what they have to say leaves me aghast. It's like looking through your fingers when the Daleks came on, or paying to see John Merrick. You need to look, but it doesn't make your life better.

I feel like Wilder does. I hate them with a passion. Of course I don't look for their results before Utds, but as our bitter rivals, I'm entitled to hate them.

If I ever got enough money, I'd buy Wednesday from Chancer, then close the club down, and make sure their history got expunged too. So they became the new Third Lanark, Bradford Park Avenue, Maidstone Utd.

As one of my Utd mates said about Hillsborough - there's only two occasions I'd go there, to watch Utd play or to watch it burn.

I love being top dogs, and we are ahead of them on every metric, but I'd be ecstatically happy if they didn't exist at all.

I've just had a flick through that, I gave up by the third page as nearly all posts were about how they're a big club blah blah blah. They never give up do they, it's tiring reading and listening them carp on about that nonsense these days

Incredible. Are they saying they put themselves on par with the likes of Villa, Everton and Newcastle? One of those clubs averages more than 50,000. Another has won the European Cup. The other has won the top division 9 times.

Wednesday once won the League Cup, 34 years ago. Teams that have matched this achievement: Oxford, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Birmingham, Luton, Blackburn. That's more their level.
