So Hourihane was better than Jeff Hendrick’s “worst ever performance”.

I’ll take that as a win. I think.

Relegation dogfight? Bit extreme 5 games in innit?!

I didn't watch Ireland's games but looked at the formations, looked like Egan was playing LCB? Could have been our answer all along!

Unfortunately watched all 3 games
Portugal, good game Ireland were strong defensively and attacked quite well on the counter attack , though tired at the end , deserved MOM , and scored the goal in front of his mam
Saturdays game v Azerbaijani, played ok , but whole team would be lucky to get a Norwood score from Pommpey , poor display ( Ireland) lucky to get a point ,
Serbia , on back foot for most of game they cut through Ireland at will , bullied at the back although Egan / Duffy had good games probably deserved a point ,
If they thought Hourihanes set pieces were bad they’ve obviously not seen can’t beat the first mans Sir point a lot’s efforts
My take after the 3 games
Connolly / Hendrix / and McClean should never play for Ireland again , Norwich lads played well guy from St Mirren was good , Doherty has been destroyed by moving to Spurs under the
“ special ones reign “
Man City keeper was good , his distribution was ok
everyone else was average
Ireland are the 3rd best team in the group and that’s were they’ ll finish
