McGoldrick was the exceptional player on the pitch tonight, fantastic. Would love to see him behind 2 strikers for us. Norwood and Berge with Didzy in the Duffy role behind Brewster and Mousset 😍

Egan was steady.

Stevens is good when the rest of the team don't ignore him.

Cheers Roy.

Shame for Didz. Probs his last chance of reaching a tourno.
He looked back to his old self tonight. Hope his goal vs Arse has given him the confidence to play at his peak.

This. This. This. We have that creative spark ready and waiting. Let the others fight it out for a place next to Berge and let Dids float behind a front 2.

McGoldrick, yet again, was outstanding for us last night, he is so calm on the ball even when surrounded by two or three players. If I was ever to have a man-crush, it'd be Didsy.

Egan was rock solid as well, his international partnership with Duffy is looking very good from Ireland's point of view. Interesting to see how forward he got at times, almost Saint Christopher of Basham styley and looked very comfortable doing it. We nearly got caught a couple of times by having to many defenders pushing forward (🤔 seems familiar for some reason), but overall another terrific performance.

Enda had his best international game is a good while, he started pushing forward more like his Blades role in the second half and could easily have had two assists to his name today. He really looked more like himself. I think the quote about him not being given the ball enough is spot on, as he really came into it when they finally realised Enda is a baller when he's in the mood.

Gutted to go out on spotters, but overall a very positive performance for the lads and I have great hope for Stephen Kenny and the players we have coming through (some right potential in the U21's).

My fiddy cent.

Oh, and as for that dope bad-mouthing Didsy, his/her expertise of football is probably based on lining up pint glasses on a bar counter in his preferred formation, boring the skulls of anyone who'd listen, and falling of their barstool. Twonk!

Actually probably just a Rugby supporter

Didzy and brewster up top please
Didzy and Brewster should definitely be the first choice pairing.
I've seen lots calling for McBurnie and Brewster, but I think this will tempt us to play long and bypass the midfield.
With McGoldrick dropping deep, we will play through the the midfield and feed Brewster the ball into feet.
McGoldrick was fantastic for Ireland last night and always looked to be positive when in possession. Also managed to go the distance, so the fitness must be there.

I watched it. Unfortunate for Ireland, definitely deserved the win.

DidZ was class. N.B. He actually ran directly at defenders a few times and beat them. I guess he's asked not to take that risk for Blades.

Enda's best performance of the season. I'd been thinking Lowe should start v Fulham, but this performance might give him another chance.

Egan looked really strong as per nearly always.

Personally i would put didzy left hand side of midfield with norwood and berge
Up top brewster and burke

I hope the McGoldrick that comes back from international duty isn't the one that left for international duty earlier this week.

Gentleman John said "win the ball; give it to Currie". Pace and penetration up front with McGoldrick in behind a front two is the way to go, just as long as we have runners and ball winners to do the legwork.
