Quite sobering that McBurnie still hasn't broken the £1m per goal barrier. Other than that, a pleasant read.

“If you can’t pass don’t try to play a passing game”

I was saying the same throughout the game, they were crap but still insisted on trying to pass. Was Martin given a Man City coaching manual for a gift once upon a time?!

He was, but someone tore out the page on financial doping prior to him getting it

The frequent feigning injury in the box and general time wasting was pretty fucking embarrassing on their part today.

Resorting to gamesmanship when you're already losing away from home and have nothing to lose is a sure sign of piss poor character in their squad. It's no surprise that they are where they are.

I thought they looked quite neat in patches, but they lacked any final product and our press kept causing mistakes when they were in possession.

Now I would agree that if a team is going to play that way, they need to be able to do it under pressure, which they can't. But I didn't think they were all bad. By far the worst element of their game was the playacting, which is a shame.

Well judging by the pre match view they got what they expected anyway.

A nice Saturday

They wouldn’t have scored if we still playing now an impotent forward line

They carved us open once (Wes save 2nd half) and looked neat enough. But we really didn’t get out of 2nd gear today and even when they got a man over in wide positions (normally Naughton or the number 3) they didn’t make it count.

They did mix the shit, short goal kicks up with punts to Piroe that ended up going straight out though, so they’re not a 1 trick pony!

Thanks Roy, & top, top song choice too.

One of the few games I couldn't see today so reliant on those who did to comment, sounds like they are as unhappy as we are delighted.

When you’re feeling down you’re down. But I can’t believe they’re self flagellating because Wrexham ‘faired better’. They probably could have faired better if they wanted to go down Parkinson’s ‘Jurassic Park’ tactics; but who the fuck wants to watch that as a Championship club.

Oh and, yea sorry forgot, cheers Roy!

First rule of coaching. Play to your strengths

They reminded me of Slav’s Blades. Tried to play it out from the back and knock it about. Trouble is they weren’t good enough to sustain it and why play it out from goal kicks. It puts you under pressure unnecessarily

That said. They weren’t horrendous and they’ve not been out of the prem that long. They were once Wilders model. They looked fairly good until we scored

My view is 6 points for the season and thankyou. Been a total pleasure doing business with you.

They were the same last season at Bramall Lane, they had a lot of the ball, did some wonderful passing to each other, then we just picked off goals.
