Morning Roygbiv, outstanding balance there. 1st 5/6 comments from porktalk. 😉. Rest from Swansea fans. Joking aside thank you 😊 again cheers 🍻

What do they call it these days, ‘game management.’ We controlled most of the game quite easily while out of possession, but we were woeful with the chances presented to us while in possession. I’ll take a shitty 1-0 win any day against a reasonable, but toothless, Swansea. The twin pillars of Souttar and Anel were immense. The stats don’t lie.

Not sure how anyone could see that game other than a deserving United win. They missed that sitter in the first half but other than the free kick I can’t remember Cooper making a save. In the second half we had enough chances to score at least another 2 and probably should’ve. Nervy final few minutes (always gonna be when you’re only 1-0 up) think we saw it out well.

Cheers Roy

I think what they are trying to say is that we were worse but they were worser.

“We were far and away the better football side on that pitch tonight, we almost deserved a point”

You were far and away the better side who didn't deserve a point never mind a win?
Nope, you're going to have to explain that one to me my friend.

Glad to see some of their more sane posters taking control of the narrative about half way down. We should have been out of sight in the 2nd half, where it not for a bit of luck and better composure in front of goal. We really need to sort that last part out, as well as the results are going.

Cheers Roy.

Cheers Roy. I was disappointed at the lack of twatty comments before, but Swansea redeem themselves with an excellently placed 'not all that' comment almost straight off the bat. Well played boyos.

If your idea of controlling the game is defending the 18 yard box and hitting them on the break is controlling the game out of possession then we did it very well. We were sloppy first 20 to 30 minutes and fortunate not to go behind when their lad was on his own from a few yards out, then we scored out of nothing minutes later. We had a ten minute spell where we really should have made it safe, didn’t, and then held on for the remainder. As they say, goals change games.

I don't think swansea played too badly to be honest- just needed to be a bit sharper in the final 3rd.... although having said that, if we were also that bit sharper in front of goal it could/should have been 2 or 3

Apart from the chance in the first half which looked off side in real time (and still looks off side on the highlights) the only other attempt on the goal they had was the free kick in the 90th minute.

It’s no good passing the ball around and not doing anything with it. All I can conclude from those first comments is that David Weir would have a job for life if ever appointed Swansea manager. I’d rather watch Pulis ball than be bored to tears by that week in week out.

Thanks Roy.

Started with a promising pinch of salt but that just faded away, bit like their football really. How the hell can a supposedly better side deserve almost a point, guess that's the Welsh for you.

Nice selection of comments. Full range.

At some point during yesterday's game, I commented that Swansea looked a lot more assured and with a game plan, though they were too shit to get anything from it, while the Blades looked like they were just winging it with no real plan, but we're good at that.

“We were far and away the better football side on that pitch tonight, we almost deserved a point”

How good would you have to be to almost deserve three points?
I wonder sometimes what people think, when they write these comments. Makes absolutely no sense
