No mention of that obvious push on Seriki that led to their goal then? That was a shocking decision from the ref.

Happy new year Roy 👍

Think we did quite well considering it wasn't our first choice 11. We ran out of steam in the 2nd half and Stoke were negative and all round shite so we held on. We should have had another 2 goals imo.

Soumare was motm for me. Shame as he might be going back in Jan.

Against Leicester I'd go:

Cooper

Seriki Tanaganga McGuiness McCallum

Brooks Riedewald Soumare O'Hare

Bamford Campbell

UTMB

Cheers Roy. A decent read - the referee shouts are no surprise after the way they kept reacting but it’s straw-clutching at its finest, they should’ve had 2 pens and us a red card??

The worst game one of their lot has ever seen mmmmm 🤔 must have started going after Pulis left.

For an hour we were in complete control & tbh should have been more than 2-0 up , then our 60min Duracell batteries ran out again . ‘Worst game he’s seen ever ‘ Jesus it’s a good thing he doesn’t follow us .. and it’s not a red ‘ .. fuck me last man brings down centre forward ..what else is it gonna be ? .. deserved win but obviously made a lot more complicated by own doings ⚔️

The ref was letting all sorts go for both sides, they just didn't twig so kept throwing themselves to the floor.
The challenge on Seriki was very agricultural, and looked a nailed-on foul, but the ref must have got shit socks for Christmas so was fed up and didn't have the patience for footballers falling over at the slightest nudge.

I am glad he gave that red. Too many defenders get away with dragging attackers to the floor on the halfway line, only getting a booking because it's so far back and their defensive partner, who averages a 30-second 100 meters, could have possibly got back to cover. It was a professional foul with no intention to play the ball, he pulled him back: off you go.

I thought the ref was decent. He wasn't fooled by any of the antics and we would have gladly given him a lift home (his of course).
Me too. He simply ignored the usual falling over at the slightest touch and let them get on with it. He allowed firm tackles from both sides to go ahead and I think this added to the flow of the game, particularly in the first half.

Too many refs blow for the slightest of touches, but this one didn’t. I don’t think he favoured either side in that respect.

Very negative bunch. Commentary said loads Stoke fans were leaving before full time, when they looked most likely to pinch a goal, which would have been a massive and underserved result overall.
Make our forum doom mongers look like happy clappers.

First, many thanks for all your hard work this year. It is appreciated.
Second, is there anyone who can understand their final comment ?
