They will be just the same with the new teams, it’s that snobbery of being “elite”. But of course, this shower wanted the super league, with no snotty newcomers each season, although why on earth they would qualify baffles me; when did they last win anything that would remotely qualify them for anything with the prefix “super”??

I don’t suppose winning trophies really matters in a franchise style league. Having a world class stadium in London is more important when it comes to getting global viewing figures.

Arrogant southern tossers. Only reaction all afternoon was because Arsenal hadn't won the League sums up how pathetic they are.

Meanwhile the fans of our "shitty" club sang their hearts out "win, lose or draw, we will be back for more'".

Tottenham perennial failures now below Villa in the pecking order.

We always generalise when we talk about other club's fans. I've met great people supporting every team we've played unsurprisingly.

However, for me Spurs and Arsenal have been some of the worst fans this season, both when playing us and in general.

The epitome of the entitled PL fan who looks down their nose at smaller clubs.

They have a proper loser mentality at that football club and it’s shown this last couple of weeks. All they’re bothered about was Arsenal not winning the league. They had the chance of Champions League football ffs and the fans seemingly didnt give a fuck.

They’re one of those clubs where Europe will do every season. They’re happy to just be nearly men, which is crazy when you look at the potential of the club.

They’re the subject of ridicule every single season because they don’t win anything. They have no more right to be in the ‘big’ 6 than Aston Villa do. Villa btw absolutely deserve the Champions League next year, the contrast in fan reaction alone means I’d rather see them in the top 4.

They’ve had countless elite managers in charge and none of them have had any success which I think says more about the football club than anything else. At least Ange Postercoglu ‘mate’ is dishing out some home truths. They might have some success if they back him but the culture needs changing at that club. They had every opportunity to build an elite team around Harry Kane and they pissed about 10 years up the wall piss arsing about.

Then throwing their hat in the Superleague thing was like the bloke from your local snooker club putting 50p down on the table at The Crucible.

Can’t claim credit for this!

…and from me a ‘thanks’ Roy for all your work on this excellent feature of the forum. I have gritted my teeth and read all of the postings across the season. To be honest, I became immune to the insults but became very interested in the massive cultural shift that has taken place in the Prem in recent years. Fans aren’t having a go at us because they have a historical grudge to bear or because of geographical rivalry (football banter that we all love!). Many of them apparently hate us and seem genuinely angry because we simply ‘aren’t good enough’. It seems earning promotion is no longer a justification for playing with the big boys we are now expected to parade a team stuffed with galacticos with earnings beyond the GDP of a small nation state. We didn’t just bring a knife to a gunfight, we brought a Reliant Robin to a Lamborghini rally. It’s not our admittedly awful technique that is angering so many Prem fans, it’s our aesthetics and the fact we simply don’t ‘fit in’. Some of these fans need to take a hard look at themselves and the self entitled, posturing arseholes they have become.

Anyway, the point is your View From has been great to have and given us all a real insight into the EPL’ s descent into narcissistic self indulgence. Thanks again and see you next season!

Having lived near London for the past 30 years I can defo say that Spurs fans surpass Arsenal fans for a sense of entitlement. Not met one Spurs fan who wasn't a cunt as well and I've met loads of em!

Some pretty crappy views from them but man city were as bad. Not so sure it's a north south thing. Spurs and arsenal were both very arrogant though, probably stems from them being in the top flight for a little bit time. I'm not jealous though of either club, neither are my type of club. PL wise there's not many I do like/relate to their fans. Wolves, Villa and Newcastle probably the only ones. Not including the relegated sides.
