"I really don't know what all the fuss was about? After the way we've been playing lately, being down to a bare bones squad, going to a local rival vying for top spot in the league and in front of 30,000 of their fans there was always only going to be one result I think

Fair comments, they were organised and disciplined and waited for the customary mistake from our defence.

We never looked like scoring because they stopped the front 2 from receiving the ball, pressed our wing backs and let Norwood and the centre halves fuck about to their heart’s content.

They had a lot more desire to win that game. Big number 11 typified their performance as he never let us win a ball cleanly all game.

When’s World Cup?!
 
I would have been furious if we hadn’t got that Penalty but it’s the type of decision Stroud never gives

Well played Rotherham after the goal the result was never in doubt.

From a Blades perspective that result and performance was an embarrassing disaster first time they have won at the lane since before Porterfield changed clubs 42 years they are saying. As bad a result as when that c**t Blackwell let the pigs win at the lane after a similar number of years of drawing blanks. If you can't get the players up for a local derby summat is up, we made a seriously under strength Millers team look decent, they aren't. What is betting they finish bottom half?
One thing is sure though looking at that performance we aren't good enough to go up.

It’s not a derby.
 
Rotherham were full value for the win. They worked harder and we had no idea how to break them down. We didn't open them up once.

They are limited but they do the best they can with their resources. Tonight they showed hard work and organisation can triumph against a more talented set of individuals. They made us look like a basic poorly coached side

Yeah, spot on. It was much more about how they played than how we did. That might sound obvious, but sometimes you just can’t compete with a side bang up for it like they were.

They fully deserved to win, we certainly didn't. Don't care what the stats say, we never looked like scoring.

They pressed and harried us and we couldn't deal with it. Our game plan seemed to be mostly knocking hopeful balls over the top, which was meat and drink for their defence.
 
Good to see the view from gremlins have gone?
Well done Rotherham. Blades not up to it, but the better side won on the night.
