“Funny how when we are not winning there is only 3 minutes extra-time and their keeper is aloud to take all the time in the world. “

What a nobcheddar.

Only Norwich at home last season wasted more time than these bumnuggets, ought to have a look at themselves before turning their eyes to us.

Cheers Roy

*swearing replaced automatically by the Foxysoft anti-cuss plug-in.

I'm using the word 'nobcheddar' at the earliest possibility tonight. Great word.

The ref and timewasting, they do realise they were the side in pink today don't they?

I took the time wasting of QPR to be all based on slowing the game down to the pace they wanted it played at.

We quite obviously sussed out their playing out from the back - and the backup plan of hitting the by-line didn't really work either.

We frustrated Freeman to the point of he was moaning to the ref.

We'd done our homework on them

1 nil on the pitch and 1 nil to our coaching staff.

We won a potential banana skin with this - glad we're done with them

UTB

We did cut out there counter attacks by fouling them though ,but their players rolled around like they had brittle bone disease so it evens out

We were pretty cynical (professional?) in fouling in their defensive third when the ball was turned over. Three or four times we did that. Perhaps fearful of their pace on the break.

But as it turned out, even when they did break, they couldn’t string two passes together.

"there’s a lot to like about today’s performance.”

Watching their coaches depart, I'd be fucking livid to have travelled all that way for so little skill and application. Brolly man has hit his level.
I said the same! How their fans could applaud that performance in the way they did completely baffled me. I’d have been embarrassed if that was a performance by United.

Cheers Roy. Mixed comments.
How shite must they have been??. Counting today as a good performance???.
I’d be embarrassed to applaud that!!.
A great 3 points. UTB

Thanks Roy.

Such a huge disparity of views, maybe some were watching a different game?

When you look at how some teams approach games it's no surprise how many extra points we've picked up under Wilder simply by being brave enough to go for a win in every game.

QPR weren't great but they were defensively solid and they moved the ball around as well as most of the top half teams I've watched. But having the ref warn you twice for time wasting at throw-ins in the first 25 minutes of a game is fucking pathetic.

We're a a bloody good Championship side but we aren't exactly Barcelona either. Show some bottle and take the game to us. And I'm not being hypocritical, I thought it was pathetic when we took this kind of "0-0 is a good result" approach under Clough.

Barnet looked a better outfit than they did today. Another MOM for the Big Mac and goal number 10 (superb header too) from a player who's injury prone, way past his sell-by and obviously not a striker. For McGoldrick to look this good they must have been crap.
I'm being sarcastic of course - and these comments are aimed at our fans who trotted out all the negative bullshit after Wilder signed him. I've not bothered to check if it's the same ones who express disdain and hatred towards Wilder's latest signing, but I'll bet they will be the usual suspects.......

The later comments were probably from those who actually attended the game.

BILLY SHAPE WE’VE GOT BILLY SHAPE! :)

Interesting mix of views again, no mention of their pathetic time wasting I see

I loved the irony steve mcclaren getting angry at dean Henderson & his assistant in the 4th official ear towards the end of the match it was almost as he'd not seen the 1st half. maybe his brolly got in the way :D

Bitter bleeders some of them blame the ref moan we are fouling and the cheeky bleeders moan about us time wasting. Strange when they were.playing for time from the kick off until we scored. Must have seen a different match to me I thought we were in total control even if it wasn't anything spectacular.
Nice to see your use of the word "bleeder". I thought as a term of derision it had fallen into disuse. It's certainly not commonly used too frequently on these pages. Well resurrected!

Couldn't agree more . Proper old fashioned Sheffield cussing word. , my old man used it all the time .

We weren't known by people from outside the city as ' dee dah bleeders ' for nothing . :)
