We wasted time just like they did to us at Loftus Road. But the thing is, it works more often than not, and they didn't threaten in the last 15 as a result.

I think there is the basis of a good side in QPR, not too flash at the back but plenty of threat going forward.

Must agree with that comment we did get away with wasting time ,but we've had many examples thrown at us,
when in Rome do as the Romans do. Great 3 points

I know right!? Wilder was all like "Accio 3 points!" and we got them!

I also saw Holloway on the sidelines trying to mess about with a time turner and get the time we had been wasting back but then he remembered that he didn't have one as they all got destroyed in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.

“The major difference between the two teams on the pitch is they have a decent manager.“

Add to that the character of players Wilder has brought in and it’s nail meet head.

Cheers Roy.

“The time wasting from blades was ridicilous”

Must be the first time I've ever heard the opposition fans chanting 'Where were u when u were shit....' at us.
Judging by the numbers in question 'in the fucking stadium' is the answer! Were they playing 'spot the difference'? That bloke wasn't here last time and maybe that one too but no so sure...

I dont get this we were better team. For me i thought we were comfortable & coasting in 2nd gear. But they get a goal & its hard to wake up & qpr took advantage

We didn't really get away with it because I can't for the life of me think of any other reason the ref added on 5 minutes of added time.

Only Jamal really did any proper time wasting but it wasn't appalling, outfield was just a little tap to roll the ball a metre away from the QPR players, it's not like we were booting it into the stands.

For those who haven't heard it, Holloway's post match interview is good. I must admit that I do like the bloke. He reminds me of Wilder in how he seems to call games absolutely right. Full of passion and honesty, he talks like a fan. Lots of praise for us as well.

Holloway is jealous of our "oomph" haha, great quote!

Cheers Roy.

Pretty sure I heard their fans saying "Empty seats, my lord"

Eh?! Talk about fucking irony.

Not sure l agree with some saying they were the better side. Other than a couple of 10 minute spells, they were on the back foot most of the night.

This one made me o_O thought - "The major difference between the two teams on the pitch is they have a decent manager". On the Pitch!?

They were extremely fortunate not to be 4-0 down at half time.

In the end they deserved a draw. Possibly!

That’s how I saw it anyhow.

I don't get the comments about our time wasting, we didn't do anything outlandish or what any other side wouldn't do with 15 minutes or so left and 1 goal up.

Yeah Jam took his time, Billy and Duffy came over to the other side of the pitch before they went off but it wasnt like we were feigning injury or having multiple different oeople take throw ins etc.

One moment where they really went mad at Jamal, the ref stopped the game to allow Clarke to put his boot and shin pad back on amd that contributed to the 5 minutes.

We really weren't that bad. Some of the comments by our own fans decrying it are bizarre.

I disagree – it was far more exaggerated than usual, and deployed far earlier than usual. We’ve done that only twice that I’ve seen in one-goal leads this season – at Norwich (deservedly), and last night. Ultimately I’m not bothered, and delighted with the points. But I’d prefer those sorts of antics to be a rarity, and left to the likes of Norwich. One of the reasons why doing that at Carrow Road wasn’t just because we’d seen it used at the Lane to a crazy level, it was because we recognised it’s not usually how we go about it.

Really Loughborough?

We didn't feign injury like Norwich.

We didn'ttake it into the corner with 15 minutes left like Under Clough.

We didn't get three different players to stand over then decline free kicks/throw ins like Bolton.

We took the sting out with the subs when it was getting frantic then we tried to make it as scrappy as possible but I cant think of any incident other than Jam being slow on goal.kicks where we over did it?

I'd be very happy for is to do that every game between now and the end.

You did better than me because I didn't hear them sing anything. I'm sure they did but there was only about 7 of them so it certainly didn't travel.

Was it more exaggerated than usual? Undoubtedly.

Was it to that level of ridiculousness? No.

We’ve won plenty of games this season without having to resort to it, and it’s the fact this sort of thing is a rarity which is why I’m not making a big deal of it.

Fair enough. But I think with no Fleck, tiring midfield, Brooks not risked and them trying to up the tempo it made sense last night. I thought Wilder called it right.

I thought we started playing the clock down once the fourth official put the board up for 5 minutes injury time. I'm glad we did, it shows our manager is also learning and realises we don't have to go gung-ho all the time to secure the points.

As for the game, we were the better side up to going 2-0 up, then for me we took the foot of the pedal and they ended up being the better team for the majority of the second half.

We were under the cosh and by breaking and slowing the game down takes away the momentum which QPR were building. We have suffered through this ,nice to go e a bit back !.

There was probably a small group of 10 at the back who attempted to do something. Fair play to them though, the chant was shortly followed by "we're fucking shit" and "you're nothing special, we lose every week."

How dare we time waste after they didn’t at all in their own 1-0 win at Loftus road............oh wait!!!!!
