I said it would be closer than most thought and I said 2-0 in the preview. Full credit to Plymouth who are desperate to stay up. I know we were missing Vinnie Sousa and Anel along with hot shot Campbell but hopefully they are back for the next game. We should have took control of the game but we didn’t until the 88th minute.

As far as Plymouth go I think if they play like that they will stay up and maybe relegate the pigs from S6

We had two tough away games in the week before while they had their game last weekend postponed so had played once in the past two weeks. There will have been an element of managing the squad as well given the fact that we're coming up to games on Boxing Day, Sun 29th, New Year's Day and then Jan 4th.

In reality what would you say his actual worth is ??
Be interesting to see what happens in the summer...
No way will he get a contract with us irrelevant of what league we are in .
it's an absolute shame that he hasn't had any sort of impact with us .....
I honestly think he will be in league 1 next season...

Most fans don't look ahead, only at what just happened in the last game. But bad performances eventually turn into defeats, and when defeats come along we haven't got the good football in us to turn it around, that's my concern.
And this is despite having good footballers in the squad, so God knows what they are told to do.

It should be easy enough to play at least some decent entertaining football, especially against weaker teams, but we never seem to manage it, every game is scruffy, untidy, scrappy and hard work, it is hard to watch us labouring along and it is only concealed by good results, the total and complete silence in the stadium tells us that.

This will eventually end up either catching us out and the second half of the season not being good enough, or we will continue with it, get promoted and being the same embarrassment we were last year.

I agree with all of that.

He would have no transfer value even if he still had time left on his contract and in the summer any club signing him will be taking a massive gamble, not least on his ability to stay available for more than a dozen games a season.

Yes, he should do very well in L1 but I doubt anyone will be able to afford what his agent's salary demands will be. He could even end up abroad.

We do sound a bit miserable don’t we? I honestly hope that my early season prediction of a mid table finish does not come true, but it is an honest appraisal of our chances as I saw it back then.
A thin squad, bolstered by the inconsistency of academy players, and subject to injury and suspensions, along with loss of form.
I failed to predict tiredness as a possible cause. Further to my prediction, the last thing I want is a play off place. Too much to bear. For me it’s automatic promotion or nothing.
Maybe it’s the fake bonhomie, or the pernicious business and media circus perpetuated at this time of year. Maybe that’s why I’m not celebrating, grumpy old git that I am.

all crowds have that toxic mob in it, but we cant descend to being toxic as we dont get giddy at all , here we are averaging 2.2 points per game and the excotement counters hardly registering a flicker

Our squad is very small. Some players are very tired. Considering our inconsistent performances, the results are exemplary. Tell me all our performances are worthy of the results achieved, and our current league table position? (Hint: many of our performances are inconsistent with our results).
