To cut a long story short, since I have been posting the 'view from' on 2 sites I have been having text formatting issues when copying and pasting from one to the other. Some of you may have noticed that I havent been as prolific of late and its simply due to the time its taking me to sort out the formatting. Its taking me longer to sort out the text then it is to collect the quotes

With this in mind I have decided to set up a blog to host the 'View From'. This means it will take me less time and also means there will be a record for all the past views for people to browse. If there are any issues let me know and I will get my crack team of blog designers on the case (i.e My mate Tom)

To celebrate this new era here we have some people who have been following football for less than 10 years taking the piss out of us!

That just backs up our thoughts on what a set of horrible, condescending, hypocritical arseholes they are.

We deserved it today It was rubbish !
we need to take a long hard look at ourselves !
Today we missed a sitter (JCR) But created nothing more !
The players let us down again
Nearly 1500 fans paid good money to watch the players going through the motions !
Perhaps they may 'Get up for the game' on Wednesday - Play like they did today on Wednesday and the tie will be over !
That was very poor Mr Clough - I hope you made the players aware that they cheated the fans today !

They sang? Really? Sound clearly doesn't travel in MK as all I could hear was silence. Was quiet in the United end I might add.

They really think they are great, don't they. They clearly have had a number of big wins, but I didn't think they were special at all. If we were to meet in the playoffs - and don't bet against that - they should hold no fears at all.

Silent and a few others will probably read that and think they're being complimentary
sure they will be cheering us on in our cup finals though

A little off topic and certainly not the main concern about today, but how many shirts, scarves, hats etc of other clubs did people spot amongst the locals today? We were looking like hitting double figures pre-match, Liverpool, Chelsea, Pompey...

...We even had a "loyal" QPR fan talking to us on the way to the ground, fully kitted out in MK Dons shirt and gear

We do not inspire fear in ANY League 1 side this year, now OR if we fluke it into the play offs
UTB & FTP

R.I.P Wimbledon :(

Thats Bull sh!t Wimbledon were dead and buried before MK got involved - Blame Merton Council !
Move On !
Whats happening in the Premier League now is much more serious! - Obscene wages, Too many Non English players Too many Non English Managers Too many Non English Coaches Milner struggles to get a game at City yet he is one of the first names on Roy Hodgsons teamsheet !

RIP England International Team- Much more relevant !

In fairness Milner is the Monty of England

In fairness to their Chairman and the club ( and fans), they have never lost faith in Robinson and have given him every chance to build something. In turn Robinson had a much better summer than our manager.

Not sure they have enough to get promoted this season though.

But who is there who is better, which is the point being made
Sad to say but I'm not sure, Ive only started watching the premier league again recently after being bored of it.

The premier league teams (and fans) want the best players and it's all about money and the best players.

When the premier league was born I don't think anyone expected the number of foreigners to come in. Personally I don't blame the premier league for this as such, but it's certainly the Champions league which can shoulder the blame.

Premier league sides with rich foreign owners saw the riches of the champions league and teams like Blackburn, Leeds, Chelsea and more recently Man City have pushed the financial boundaries further and further. In turn clubs with less money have tried to compete. With so few talented English players about over the years teams have gone overseas to get better/ cheaper imports. All the while the poor English players play second fiddle.

But if they're pushed out of the 'best league in the world' and champions league football, why don't they go abroad? Micah Richards, Bale and Ashley Cole are three I can think of. What about the rest? I'd say most of them are greedy and can sit on the bench for more money than bothering to play football elsewhere

Sorry Swiss, I don't blame the Champions League. If the Germans can be at the top of their game in Europe and their international team can win the World Cup in South America, then you cannot blame the Champions League for this. If Spain can be competitive internationally and also their league teams can be competitive in Europe then you cannot blame the Champions League.

I lay the blame wholly at the feet of the Premier League and the greed of the clubs who drink from that cup. Its become a closed shop. Now you can argue the merits of capitalism in society but in sport it is wholly wrong. To say fuck you to the bottom three divisions of English football and just drain all the resources from the game is an utter disgrace. We all in some part let it happen, we all chased the dream and we all sleepwalked into a situation where football can be played at 12.30 on a Sunday lunchtime in spite of the fact its an utter bastard for the fans to get to and from a ground. We have an FA Cup final moved for TV, which to me is one of the last nails in the rotting coffin of our game. We let Man United go chase some financial gain and more global recognition by them squirting off and playing a world tournament rather than a domestic cup competition.

As for, if English players were good enough they would start, there may be some merit in that but when clubs are hoarding English players and they aren't even getting squad numbers to play what the fuck is the point for them? As a nation we should be making sure our own players get precedence over foreign ones. A bit UKIP but if we want to have a world cup winning team in our lifetime this is the fact.

However, most don't want a World Cup winning side and England are the poor relation against Man U, Liverpool and the other wankers that populate the top tier.

The English league isn't even the best technically in the world. The game we play doesn't help us in the slightest. We don't base our game on skill and technique, but on speed. The continentals come across and need to adjust to the game, but you can become stronger and quicker, it is possible. What you cannot then teach is the skills they learn when they are 10 or 11, touch, guile, left and right footed passing.

I've said this before, the ONLY way this can change is if we put English players first and have a wage cap system. Any club can only pay its players £10k per week max. If they play that Saturday (or Friday, or Sunday etc) then they can be put into the pot for an additional bonus. For argumnents sake lets say that bonus is £1m per the first XI then you can pay Rooney £250k and you can pay someone else £200k but you only have £550k to share around the other 9. Now anyone can live on £10k per week so you aren't skinting anyone. What you do however is make players want to play. You make them want a shirt and even sitting on the bench isn't good enough. That way more players want to move. Foreign players looking for a last pay day aren't going to come because they won't get it unless they are good enough to start.

Then you don't lose players like Harry because unless he starts for Hull he isn't going to get so much of a benefit. So he develops at SUFC for a couple more seasons until he is really ready. If he doesn't develop then it was never going to be and no one wastes silly money on him.

Cheers Roy.
I've bookmarked the blog. Good luck with that.

Agree on all but the salary cap details - not the salary cap itself.

You could reduce the stock piling of young players if you restricted outgoing loans to a max of 8 per season - Chelsea currently have some obscene number of players out on loan across all the age ranges - some 30+ I believe - that's just immoral and plain wrong. It would get youngsters thinking about actually playing football and it would create an income stream for clubs lower down the pyramid as transfer fees would need to be paid - of course that's why the stock piling began in the first instance - to get out of having to pay a club for the player that learnt their trade there.

Trust you will post your blog link when updated Roygbiv :)

Yeah of course. Like I said it just easier to have one in place so I can post the link. Some people have been asking me for a while to set up a blog so there is some sort of archive where the old 'views from' can be read so it makes sense

Im gonna add a few features on there and would be delighted if anyone wanted to submit a post regarding United . If anyone has any ideas send me a message

What gets me is if average supporters can come up with these ideas quickly enough why the fuck is it so difficult to come up with a solution that works better for all and not just the few? I keep saying we have something special in this country, 92 clubs in 4 divisions. It isn't the Premier League that is the jewel in the crown it is the fantastic support given by people up and down the country for all of those clubs. When you put unhealthy focus and finance into the few you just break the entire thing. Greg Dyke should be fucked and burned, then shagged with a splintered broom handle for his idea of putting B teams into the football pyramid. It is utterly shameful that something like that should ever get Oxygen. Yet his former Premiership player cronies all nodded along like it was a good idea. Fucking wankstained cuntholes is all I can say about them.

Thing is, I care about football. We may not be the best at it, but we invented the game and if we ever want to get good at it again we need to totally review the way it is administrated. Its utterly rotten, it couldn't be much worse. The very minute it because a business over a sport played for the entertainment of those who went to watch that rot set in. Like lemmings to a clifftop we have run after the golden piss drips from the Premiership offering, from Sky subscribers to those who pay over £1000 to watch clubs play. It will only stop when we stop dipping into our pockets I'm afraid. And I don't mean to watch SUFC, I mean the Sky, the BT and the rest.

Fucking cheek! Who you calling Average :o

I don't think that's a bit UKIP at all. It's just a classic "brain drain" (not the best choice of phrase in this context, admittedly) with overseas talent following the money. The money is clearly obscene, the Prem is clearly bloated, self-serving and corrupt, and the ridiculous hype about even the most mediocre games in the Prem and Champs League is surely ONE reason why no-one takes domestic cups, the Football League, or the national side seriously any more.

The game is so much better, in so many ways, than it was before the Prem. But it hasn't half cost us. Generations of tradition undone by corporate money in what, relatively speaking, has been the blink of an eye.
