Wonder if at any point they will realise that all the stats are meaningless when it’s all part of the game plan.

Set up to absorb pressure and defend don’t cocnede and nick a goal.

Executed to spinchter tensing perfection.

The bucket mastermind got out done on his own allotment

Decent comments for the most part but Leeds fans saying they are unlucky WOW.
Thanks Roy.

Really depends on your view, if you're a SU supporter you'd say "bollox" not lucky at all we had a game plan , from a Leeds POV we were unlucky i.e. hit the post had more attempts etc doesn't really matter its goal scored and points that matter

If I were a Leeds fan I'd feel pretty pissed off and think that Leeds should have won. But I would not blame lady luck, or the ref, or the Blades style of play or any perceived cheating or fouling. I would blame the strikers who couldn't manage to hit the target once in a game that Leeds mostly dominated. I would possibly blame some poor defending, but if the strikers had done their job it wouldn't have mattered.

Have to say spot on.

I’d blame their defensive errors above all else. As the stats showed, Leeds’ XG wasn’t markedly different to ours, but they don’t half look error prone at the back.

The played bloody well at times, but if they’d defended with the diligence of our lads, they’d not have lost. Scoring goals is hard to do, and we never allowed them a 1v1 or a genuine tap-in.

To be honest, I remember thinking how well they defended at the Lane, despite thinking we ought to have won. So they are capable of it.
