Meh!

Cheers Roy.

In a slightly perverse way, I quite enjoyed listening to Kevin Gage's astonishment at almost everything. I'm sure that he still hasn't worked out Warnock's message to the Huddersfield team:

"Lads, we need 1 point from tonight, but here's the plan for how we can get 3 by playing for 20 minutes. See if you can get to half time goalless while pretending to be absolutely abject players. The Blades won't care, they're not playing for anything so will revert to training ground knocking the ball around. If we can do that, we've got them where we want them.
Second half, play like normal, grab a goal. They'll fall apart and will be reduced to McB waving his arms around whinging at the ref. Revert to first half, but no need to pretend you are abject footballers any more. Worst thing happens they get an equaliser. In fact, even if it doesn't work out, main thing is that you won't be tired for Monday if we need a point against Reading. Off you go, lads."

Not claiming Warnock as a master tactician, but yesterday was as close to a Masterclass as I have ever seen.

Thanks Huddersfield fans, PS would you like to take Sharp, Stevens & Fleck off us? 3 for 1 deal available

Cheers Roy. Interesting being sat with their fans, and sneakily listening to their comments. Everyone being very impressed with United’s movement off the ball in the first half being the main takeaway. The other thing is how funny it is listening to their outrage at the most innocuous tackles and offside decisions. Made wonder, am I like that about United??
Finally, someone else already made this point, if we had needed anything from this game we would’ve destroyed them, I am certain. The gulf in class was huge. But fair play to them, glad they have stayed up, but I hate seeing United lose whatever the situation, so would’ve preferred them to do it against Reading.

“CAN YOU HEAR ME? SEAN BEAN, JARVIS COCKER, MICHAEL VAUGHAN, MICHAEL PALIN, DAVID BLUNKETT, JESSICA ENNIS.
YUR BOYS TOOK ONE HELL OF A BEATING!!!”

theres always one bell end isnt there.

1) 1-0 at home never constituted 'one hell of a beating' - wouldnt describe our 3-0 loss to Man City that either
2) most of our lads were still in the boozer celebrating promotion - not relegation, you know top end...
3) we got our business done early, so we wasnt needing to rely on a dead rubber game for the opposition
4) Cocker, Vaughan & Blunkett are pigs
5) your a cunt.

Actually glad Udders stayed up, love him or loathe him Warnock did give us some great memories in the early 00's
Plus would I rather a proper nothern town club, or a shithole near London get relegated?
I would like to be associated with all of the above !

Thats why we lost last night...Hecky got the manager of the month award for April

Cheers Roy.

What makes me laugh is that if we needed to win that last night to go up, we would have done easily. It was clear that our players were not interested in relegating Huddersfield. We didn't even try. Bringing off our main strike force 6 mins into the second half was a clear indication of this.

I expect us to go at Brum and actually try this time. They can't be relegated and it won't affect us whatever the result. Having said that, I would like to see some of the younger lads start this game.

Davies

Bogle Anel (if poss) Egan Robbo Baldock

Coulibaly Doyle McAtee

Ndiaye Jebbo
I really dont like seeing George on the left hand side. He has no left leg so defenders just have to show him the touch line and he pulls up and cuts inside - takes all the momentum out of the attack. Gerrim storming down the right - different gravy!

Out of interest what is this based off? I hear Jason cundy doing it in talkSPORT all the time

If Enda is fit then he would be in there I'd imagine 👍

Maybe you should do a view from Reading too 😂

Cheers Roy, a few of there comments really made me laugh out loud....
