Their wage bill has to be astronomical and one of, if not the highest in the division. Far more than ours, I'd wager.

For all of that, they didn't create very much at all.

On the balance of the whole game, I thought a draw probably would have been a fair result.

That being said, I did think we looked very threatening on the counter and often just the execution of one pass away from a 2nd goal. On the other hand, Fulham played the game entirely in front of us and we rarely looked troubled.

If they'd scored from their one big chance at the death I'd have probably had to accept it though.

Loving the old physical, bullied, fouled, out fought comments coming back to the surface ................... we must be doing summat right.
Some sensible comments in there too we did do a number on them, Hecky had the tactics spot on and Silva had no answer. I watched the game last night and was never worried despite a lot of Fulham possession one shot on target tells the story. Asaba on radio Sheffield was loving it too and commented on how it was time we used some of the dark arts of the game rather than let teams use them on us. I think we dominated that game from start to finish it was played how we wanted it played and in the positions we wanted to play in if Fulham can't deal with it then tough titty.
Speaking of the dark arts, and no idea if this was planned, but I did like what the commentator had to say, although again he was just saying it off the cuff, but the comment as 'we' walked out onto the pitch 'Well Sheffield United have had enough they aren't waiting for Fulham to come out, they are away and warming up already' the camera then went to the tunnel as Fulham ambled out stood in front of the EFL presentation on the pitch and looked a bit lost that United weren't standing there, ready to shake hands etc it kind of set the tone

Must be if Aleksandar Mitrovic the 27-year-old striker is on £100K+ pw according to the Mirror
The report claims, sees him rake in more than £100,000 a week if he meets all of the club’s performance targets.

Obscene, but at the same time £5m over the course of the year to give yourself a huge chance of promotion is probably worth it with the players they have. He's like a cheat player at this level.
