Great to have the Blades of old back. Especially liked the out muscled comments, especially after being bullied and out strengthed for the first four months of the season.
very perceptive - those muscles haven't just grown since Hecky took over - wtf was the team doing under Slav ? the muscles were there but under Slav the players just couldn't be arsed to use em - strikes me that the players effectively "withdrew their labour" under Slav and his unintellible coaching.
what a feckin waste of almost half a season by the board making a duff appointment
just goes to show yet again how crucial the manager function is at any club
and just coz you have one that's great for 4 seasons doesn't mean that he's gonna stay great if he's not properly "managed" by the board
Wilder's demise (allowed to happen by the board with no succession planning in place) followed by Slav's duff appointment by the board ..... the club bears the responsibility and we were heading for L1.

fair play to the board for ditching Slav irrespective of the cost and embarrassment.

they have been VERY lucky to have Hecky in place - lets hope they nuture him

Completely get what you're saying, but hindsight is a wonderful thing, as they say, I'll just take what's happened earlier in the season, draw a line and be thankful how it's turned out so far

Do they have a Mitro. Can’t hit a barn door thread on their forum

Cheers Roy! Ah,this feels good. Nice and complimentary at the start but can feel the whineyness creeping in as you scroll down.
A month or so ago, we'd have got bummed down here and it shows just how far we've come in such a short space of time.
Lovely stuff!

As I walked through the park to Craven Cottage before the match, listening to Fulham fans chatting it seemed as if there was no point in us turning up and they'd won the Championship already. I overheard just one who was warning his friends of our winning streak and their recent series of draws. Fuck 'em!

“They deserved to win tonight. We were poor. Their game plan was spot on and gave us no space at all.”

This. Sums it up for me.

We've gone away to the League leaders, with at least one possible starter missing. We've look organised, drilled, disciplined, committed, energetic, professional and we've fought and got to every ball. It's a performance like that that makes me love my Bladeys.

Their squad depth and talent amongst their squad is quite impressive too, and we've given them nothing. I can't decide if they were off the boil, or if we restricted them from playing, or both. Either way, they created very very little and despite the late double-chance, they deserved nothing from that.

Often wonders what is the meaning of this sign and when its done with just the little and index fingers?

It didn't need hindsight for the club to realise in November 2020 that it was getting relegated and Wilder was asking to be relieved of his duties - they had the period of November 2020 to June 2021 when fuck knows what they were thinking , let alone doing.
And still by May 2021 they didn't really have a clue + then appointed someone who couldn't come till July + had virtually no pre-season + then turned out useless
