Instead of showing signs of jealousy guys I think the wise thing to alleviate our pain after watching that display is to pop down the bookies and put some smart money on Fulham going up in that 2nd auto spot. If we make the play-offs (and I think we will) at least we wouldn't have to worry about them!

The winners can laugh and the losers can mump.

It's like they are all plastics and don't deserve a decent team but us Northern types do.

Do they pay any more to watch than us?

Glass ceiling hit tonight. Is there the will to shift it?

I'm not too sure there is, whichever of our "co-owners" ends up in charge. Not a criticism, I just don't feel either of them are willing / able to put the money in needed.

It just seems all wrong to me that shit little clubs with crap support litter the premier league and big clubs with huge support find themselves in League one or lower. I know you get the odd club that falls on hard times or punch above their weight but it happens far too often that big clubs can't compete with little outfits who have a mega rich sugar daddy. Just take a look at the clubs who have been in League one or lower recently both Sheffield teams, Man C, Wolves, Coventry, Leeds, Norwich, Portsmouth, Southampton, Forest the list goes on and on. One or two might have been badly managed but today if you don't have a rich backer you cannot compete with the Bournemouth's, Watford, Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Swansea or any other little mill town who has billionaire who happens to live there, all these teams struggled to have five figure crowds before the money men took an interest. Football has moved away from it's working class roots and is now a TV sport and a toy for the mega rich.

Yes they outplayed us but hey ho it’s only one game.
Remember this Fulham because of our fan base you will never be equal
AND one day when the money runs out in football you will see us wave as we pass you by

The only Fulham fan I know has told me the only reason they watch Fulham is because they can’t get season tickets for any of the big London clubs. That’s why they need fake noise to create any atmosphere.

cheers Roy. they are arrogant as fuck. Yeh they were good last night but can't see them getting 2nd place unless mr warnock inspires a major fuckup at Cardiff!!. Utb

Never had any problems with the majority of Fulham fans even if as a whole they don't match up to the other London clubs with similar histories.

Can't help but feel there's a few Pigesque posts on this thread.

Just "tinpot" missing really.

Money they wouldn't be able to spend in a month of Sunday's were it not for a benefactor throwing money at them. Where would these all be on a level playing field? I'd struggle to argue for any of them being above league 1 based on infrastructure alone

Disagree. Why should anything be won or league places decided on infrastructure? Surely no football would be played and we'd just be looking to build the biggest castle?

What exactly is a level playing field anyway? Why are we fighting to make everyone equal. Every game would be a draw. At the end of the day, the best players, playing as the best team (usually) win. Levelling the playing field would be massively unfair to ambitious management and players.

Fundamentally, it's about imbalance being good. That's what makes the surprise wins brilliant, the unexpected cup runs so memorable.

We had our pants pulled down. Fulham fans comments are fair enough.

and while you're in the bookies, ask for odds on them not lasting long in the PL.

Their beloved Mitrovic? A £13m loan player who got eleven goals in the PL and has now got five goals in four Championship starts.

Well that's another set of fans added to my 'Arrogant Cunts List'. Shows what a bit of success can do to you.

I hope hardman Mitrovich is startled by a spider when he gets home and falls down the stairs.

A spider with Polonium 210 implants in its fangs

Apart from the fan that says I do love thrashing Sheffield United I wouldn't say their views were arrogant. All the media and Deadbats report stated we were well beaten last night by a side who beat Wolves 2 - 0 recently. No disgrace last night from us and they are playing PL football right now, certainly better than the likes of West Brom and Stoke.

Sooner the better

My God we sound bitter, we sound worse than the Wendy twat on 606 on Saturday, when Robbie Savage stood up for us.
So what they’re a smaller club than we are, doesn’t make them a shitty little club. Doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve promotion.
They play great football. They have history, they have fans that have followed them for years.
So many comments about them having a sugar daddy and then the same posters complaining that we don’t have one. So it’s ok, if we get one because we are bigger?
Be proud of what we have...success is so much sweeter when achieved by your own hard work

Thing that I was most miffed about last night was Evans (L) tackle that "earned" him a yellow card.
Lino gave it immediately, but ...
1. it was perfectly timed
2. he got the ball cleanly
3. he prevented Ojo getting away (again)
4. if they are going to cut out great tackles altogether then what a shit game football will turn out to be.
Basketball will have more physical contact.

btw - we got schooled, again - but I believe Fulham were better than Wolves
In the stands - Wolves infinitely better than Fulham

2 faced fuckers wanted Jokanovic out a couple of months ago before they clicked into gear.

We didn't really help ourselves last night though, never gave ourselves a chance by holding onto the ball better and we ended up pumping it long to no Clarke.
