As good as they were tonight (and have been for a while now), there's still a good 10 games left and they could quite easily be in this league again next year.

It was only 3 years or so ago when mid-table League One Sheffield United embarrassed them, and about 17 of their fans bothered to show up.

Another team that wouldn't have even 10,000 watching after a couple of seasons in the third tier.

Fickle as fuck. We deserve the investment that clubs like these tarts get.

Well that's another set of fans added to my 'Arrogant Cunts List'. Shows what a bit of success can do to you.

I hope hardman Mitrovich is startled by a spider when he gets home and falls down the stairs.

Fulham have several players that make them a top end champ club. They will finish 3rd because Cardiff will not drop out of the top 2. I still fancy us for 6th spot though.
Even if we do fail - wow what a first season back and with a few decent acquisitions in the summer then I'm really excited for next season's assault but we do need more pace and quality !
If we get some investment in then there is no reason why we can't step up to be next seasons Wolves or Fulham :)

We play the game in the right way but we need better, quicker technical players that make better decisions, oh and lethal strikers would be nice ;)

You'd think they were a big club from the way they talk. Set of fuckin clowns.

I have done 4 view from's on Fulham now and they have always showed a lack of knowledge and humility. I always get the feeling they support Fulham when they are doing well but keep the Chelsea shirts in the draw "just in case we go back down the leagues again"

I always get the feeling they go watch Fulham when the ‘rugger’ team is away or something. They’re an odd bunch of fans - where else would you find a ground with a fucking neutral section?

I don't like many clubs outside of S2 but I always despise tiny plastic clubs that have had mega money shoved down their throats, Fulham are on that list. Pathetic fans, pathetic ground and Hugh Grant is a prick.

Actually it’s a very nice ground! Not big, but traditional and friendly. They have an open area where home, away and neutral fans mix. Loads of refreshment stalls inside. Lovely views over the River Thames. Nice stroll through a park to get there. Lovely part of London with nice shops and bars and restaurants. And this current Fulham team play very attractive passing football. The best in this division imo.

I agree with you about the lack of atmosphere in the ground and those awful clappers they give the fans. But it’s one of the best away trips I’ve been on. Really enjoyed the whole experience, but not the result.

Blades didn’t play bad btw - in fact we were very good in spells at the beginning of both halves. But they were class and credit to them. I hope they get an auto spot because I wouldn’t fancy our chances against them in the play offs.

No need to be horrible about their ground or fans. That’s not my experience at all. Far from it!

The winners can laugh and the losers can mump.

It's like they are all plastics and don't deserve a decent team but us Northern types do.

Do they pay any more to watch than us?

Glass ceiling hit tonight. Is there the will to shift it?

Sorry, I just despise everyone that isn't Sheffield United (including friendly quaint poxy cunts like Fulham).

Fulham are such a shit club. 15 games unbeaten and you could count their fans tonight. And the clappers?? It’s so frustrating seeing dross like that have amazing squads and money to boot. London factor I suppose, cool init!

Their souls will never be as pure as ours.

The Fulham fans we have met tonight were happier talking about the Quinn’s whoever them wankers are.

It's my dream to see football implode financially just so jumped up little clubs like Fulham, Wigan, Bournemouth, Swansea etc can fuck off back to the lower leagues where they belong.

These jumped up clubs show some ambition and spend some money and go for it. Nobody belongs in any league. You get where you get to on merit.

Money they wouldn't be able to spend in a month of Sunday's were it not for a benefactor throwing money at them. Where would these all be on a level playing field? I'd struggle to argue for any of them being above league 1 based on infrastructure alone

It was absolutely brutal when their fans started cheering our passes in the second half after that spell of us not touching it for about 10 mins! Had to laugh though, it was champagne football and their fans lapped it up the same as we would've done. Comprehensively smashed tonight by a far superior side, easily the toughest of our remaining games, onto the next'un.

I have to agree with some of the sentiments from posters who see the Fulham's, Wigan's, Bournemouth's etc for what they are shit little clubs who would do well to stay in the championship if they didn't have a sugar daddy pumping millions in. If they were getting the same results as Sunderland or Birmingham they wouldn't be 10,000 watching them, sadly money is no longer generated by a clubs supporters but by money men wanting to make more money. For some it works for some it can be a disaster ask any pig from S6, one thing is for sure it is ruining the game let's be right put enough money in and you could take Stocksbridge Park Steels up into the premiership

Fulham truly outclassed us, attacking wise they're every bit as good as wolves and a cut above anything else in this division .

Quite like Fulham, not the most vocal of fans, what little atmosphere there was felt very contrived. But The Cottage is a great quirky old ground, in a very nice part of London. The Fans I encountered seemed a nice friendly bunch, even police and stewards were very friendly. Perhaps not the most passionate of supports, but an intelligent, largely middle class football fan base. I imagine they read about football in the Sunday Times or Observer, instead of the Sun. No issue with either, just clearly a different fan base to most of the Northern clubs.

I for one would welcome them back in the Premier league, especially if they can continue the stylish football they currently play..
