Ha the home crowd were handing out a lot of stick!
Yup, goal up after a minute, 3-0 win, majority of the possession. No wonder he is amused. I'm just bemused.
Crowd were apalling.
We had a thread a while back about what set us apart from the Porcine Crew and their massive expectations. Dare I read back through it?
Am properly irked.
I have no problem with large expectations, and in fact, I don't class expecting to beat Fleetwood at home as a large expectation.
What I hate is people hurling abuse at the players during the match when we're winning!
Not surprised there weren't many views - reckon it's the first time, the one coach probably had spare seats on it.
Thought the kid marking JCR had a decent game - looked quick and didn't give him a minutes peace - possible signing in the future?

The crowd was on their backs because of the season so far, not anything they did or didn't do last night.Agree the crowd was apalling last night. At best, the atmosphere was flat. At worst, "we" were booing our own players for keeping posession whilst winning. The idiot who sits a few rows behind me (Kop, slightly left of centre, maybe around row VV) is one of the worst. After they'd all been booing the lack of forward play, Freeman went round the outside of his man, got to the byeline but just failed to keep it in (first half). Quite a few applauded the effort while he was shouting "What are you fucking clapping for? He's just run it out the useless wanker".
He had a similar rant at Adams for failing to score from Sharp's throughball at the end of the first half. If you post on this forum and are reading this, hang your head in shame. You are a dsigrace of a football fan.
On the other hand, last night showed we can stick to our game plan and win a game of football at a canter even when the support is shit and the crowd are inexcplicably on their backs. That somewhat dispells the theory that the crowd make us lose games. So come on blades, no excuses. More of the same please.

It's to be expected as well, our patience is wearing thin. Like it or lump it they play for a club with huge expectation in this league. They knew it when they signed on the dotted line.
They can't expect a club with 20k gates in the third tier to have fans who are happy to be just around the play off spots, especially with our history of failure at that stage.
