Great to see O'connell back, and to say it's only a few days since we played Spurs off the park I think the lads did very well and fully deserved at least our first away point since the shut down.
Just like any of our seasons so far under the Dynamic duo a slow start is starting to build up it's momentum because today against an inform team it could just as easily have been all three point, they got away with one and they know it.
What a great goal that was from Egan, magic our Morris, that never say die spirit is back,

COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZARDS !!!!!!!! :D
Hate to be pedantic, but I'm pretty sure we got an away point at Villa Park ;)

Maybe they're not all twats, who knows. Think we were very unlucky to go in behind in the first half, maybe should've gone in in the lead. But didn't see us breaking them down in the second.

English football played by predominantly home grown players, no, stop. This is beginning to sound like an EDF recruitment post, fuck it.
Just this, it was refreshing to see honest football, no play acting bollox. Nothing to do with their country of origin.
I love this 1066!
EDF - French power company who recruit in Sainsburys and Waitrose.
EDL- English no-power types who try to recruit in.....I'll leave it there!
Good honest game though!

The difference Between a draw and a loss is only 1 point
The difference in comments between this view from and the one from Spurs is a million miles

2 honest northern clubs who seem to be cut from the same cloth, the other a bunch of self entitled mockneys who have a chip on their shoulder bigger than the chin on Kane’s face.

Anything taken today, you had to earn it, club and fans gone up in my estimation after today.

Got to call you out on the format Roygbiv. View “from” is a tad misleading as no fecker was there so it’s hardly ‘from‘ is it?
Maybe you should rebrand the section a View ‘by’, sort it Roy, doesn’t look good ;) 😷
Ooopps, almost forgot 42nd nob

“He is a genuinely nice guy. I know him from his time at Halifax, when my old man was poorly Chris was round at the house regularly”

Top bloke, great interview after!
Egan should have scored 10 by now!
Have a Bovril at drinks break🤣

“So it is possible for two teams to play a PL game without feigning injury, rolling around and trying to get players sent off?! Total respect for Sheffield United
and Chris Wilder.”

Comment of the season

They’re aware that Jay Rodriguez plays for Burnley aren’t they? That attempt to con a penalty in injury time at the Hawthorns last season was one of the worst dives I’ve seen – and with another ref, might have been given.

Ahhh I knew there was a reason I disliked Jay Rodriguez, couldn't remember it at all. Thanks.

I feel like it’s a prerequisite to being a United fan that it carries with it a random variety of long-standing grudges against various individuals in the game. That one against Rodriguez is unlikely to shift for me – despite the fact it wasn’t given, the fact he tried it at a time when a decision like that looked like it could potentially influence everything going on at the top of the table, was inexcusable.

“So it is possible for two teams to play a PL game without feigning injury, rolling around and trying to get players sent off?! Total respect for Sheffield United

Yet we had Arsenal, Bournemouth and Spurs doing that all game. Is it the management or the players or both ?

All that being said I was furious when tarkowski made a back for mcburnie which ended up.with him landing awkwardly and looking in some discomfort for a few minutes ,even worse tarkowski got the free kick

I thought this particular shihouse move had been.outlawed after a few players having serious injury's and Craig short nearly breaking his neck
Either way its a pretty scummy thing to do and tarkowski can fuck off

Some what disappointed with result but you only get what the opposition allow.
Two evenly balanced teams, just thought we might have the ingenuity to out think Burnley but sadly not.
Thanks Roy,
