In fairness re: the ref, I have no idea how Brewster didn't get a yellow for persistent foul play, nor how MGW didn't get a second yellow for the foul in the second half where the ref played advantage

Remembering more, it was actually late in the first half where MGW should have been off. Saying to the bloke next to me Hecky should make a half time sub before we go down to ten and City counter attacking towards the Kop immediately afterwards should have given me a clue tbh
