Maupay is starting to look like a cautionary tale in terms of Toney and maybe Brentford strikers in general including dare I say it Watkins (when grealish doesn’t play). Came from an ultra attacking system that created loads of chances within the penalty area and so scored loads of goals whilst also being profligate. Now his number of chances has decreased his production has nose dived because he isn’t clinical. If you put maupay in our side he’d look like Brewster imo due to the lack of chances we create.

I read earlier in the season he was of the opinion he should be playing for a more successful club. He sounds like a bit of a prick. It’s almost like it’s easier to score goals in the championship than it is in the PL.

He probably meant we deserved too, having outplayed them for large parts of the game after a poor sending off decision and them getting a spozzy equaliser close to the end. Or he just made a mistake
