Agree, they really lacked a cutting edge.
They were like us last season, guilty of trying to walk the ball into the net.
Our goalie made 2 great saves and looked confident and steady but he didn't have that much to do.

Anyone would think they were Barcelona! I thought it was a good game of football, with quality on show from both sides. And if anything, the ref let them get away with a lot more than us.

To echo a previous post...I used to have a lot of time for Brentford. A "proper" club doing things right surrounded by moneybags famous neighbours. Now...fuck 'em. Seems a little bit of (relative) success has gone to their heads and they've developed wendy-levels of delusion and entitlement.

Who the FUCK do Brentford think they are??? Disappointed with the crowd/atmosphere? Less than cultured? Look, you cunts. So you got lucky last season and finished fairly high up. For a non-descript team like Brentford, that's the exception, not the rule. Decent teams such as Charlton know their place (as do we) and don't get up our own arse like Brentford and that shower of shit from S6.

I hope you enjoy the atmosphere at Griffin Park next Saturday. There won't be half the crowd as today as your shithole only holds 12,763 but the atmosphere - if any - will come from the Forest fans. Maybe if you brought more than 1100 to the opening game of the season, the atmosphere would be better?

Im with them on the screen, it looks awesome, but i think teletext paid for it, cos a constant stream of pointless silent holiday adverts throufhout the game!!?? What the fuck!?, we need the scores from other games popping up, replays of incidents played over, clips of the game, im not sure about you guys, but i dont wana keep having to look at some 3rd world country thats had a street cleaner spend a week there and interflora sponsored flower bed being shown next to a sea view! Give us the scores or at least something football related please.

If you actually strip out the mardy arse stuff, much of what they say is bang accurate.

We went far too direct far too often today. The result was consistently turning over possession with the ball coming straight back at us.

Now I believe Brentford are a decent side, who, more often than not, will punish sides who employ such tactics. As will others.

So I do agree to an extent, we were a bit tactically naive. But they also put us under pressure for which they deserve some credit. We defended manfully and nicked the points. They didn't. End of.

We battled but also played plenty of good football today. This lot were in the main a sour bunch who knew nowt and expected it to be a walkover in the pre match view-from and they've just carried on.

I guess this is what happens when a tiny club has a bit of success. Higher level football and a decent team, but classless lower league fans whole be back down where they deserve to be sooner rather than later.

As for suggesting a lack of atmosphere, that shows the poster up as a complete fuckwit.
