“Judging by today, I am glad we didnt sign Woolford, who we were supposedly linked to in the summer. I haven’t seen a player so disinterested in a game for a long while, as he was in that first half. It was a surprise he lasted as long as a hour before Adkins replaced him with Baxter”

I'll try and get that up in the next few days. I was considering trying to get views on some of our players who have moved on but wasn't sure if anyone would care

He's only played two full games and a few minutes as a sub, so it might be too soon. Up to your professional judgement of course though.

Fair comments there.

Although our players aren't up to standard, the big squad does give us options from the bench against tiring teams. If only we could defend properly we should win plenty late on.

Do you do requests? Brighton fans' views on Murphy?
Here's a few for you taken from a thread comparing him with March and a few other players.......................
Murphy- Gliding past Rotherham defenders with apparent ease and, had there been a bit more movement from our strikers, could have had 3 assists quite easily. Fully deserved man of the match award.
Murphy looked the business, seems to seriously enjoy running at defenders.
You raise a good point. Murphy certainly deserves to keep his place but similarly how can you not make room for Lua Lua on current form when available?
Murphy will have more difficult tests than Rotherham though, so I can see these two replacing each other frequently throughout the season. March has as much skill as both of them. What he lacks is self belief though. Manu must be thinking to himself. How do I break into this side ?
Murphy is also a very good Central Striker
Murphy looked very good, real quality and great movement when on the ball.
Murphy on the other hand looked to run at defenders on both sides and knows where the goal is.
In full agreement with you here. Murphy was very good last night. As mentioned before, his highlights from last season on youtube is extremely encouraging.
What i loved about murphy last night, wasnt only the fact that he took on and beat his man. But the fact that every time he did he put a pin point pass to one of the players waiting in the box..
Something weve been lacking for years. Exallent game last night.
Murphy looked good. Solly is lacking confidence and must be given time.

Of course it is still early in the season but they do seem to like Murphy

They obviously know fuck all because he's inconsistent, only got player of the season because everyone else was shit and we don't need to replace him.

And hopefully our standards won't drop off too much when (further) injuries and suspensions kick in.

Take your time Roy, I for one don't care. If they are no longer playing for my club, fuck em.

From this I infer that your club is "Fuck em"
In which case aren't you on the wrong forum?

.......................you can tell it's going to be a slow week can't you?

Amazing views of our spineless talentless waste of space honest hard working professionals, although as a glass half full type of guy I agree with most of em

FCUnited of Manchester?

Interesting that several of their fans comment on how Baxter came on and changed the game and they were disappointed he came on after being man of the match in last seasons corresponding fixture and yet no one has yet mentioned it.....

Funny that.
