Kraft durch Freude
As that laggard Roygbiv obviously can't be bothered, I've had a quick shufti on Wanderers Ways. Should be interesting.
I don't think we took even near that when we were flying high in the PL, the lower tier was 2/3s if not half full that day
can't recall a decent following there any time in the last 20 years, all at a higher level
done ok at Sheff Weds, but no more than 2k over the last few years i wouldn't have thought
Then a lurking pig puts his tuppenorth in
your right pal sheff weds always been the better attended
The 2nd game I can remember being at was 1978 when we won there 5-1. All I can remember was the terrace to my right being an absolute warzone.
My memory of Sheffield United was a game in late 70s/early80s. We won 5-1 at Bramhall Lane and the local neanderthals were less than happy. I got a bit of a shoeing after the game and ripped the knees out of a brand new (that day) pair of jeans. Unfortunately it was long before torn jeans were a thing.
Been twice to Sheff U The 5-1 in 78 and the 2-2 about 10 years ago.
In for this one but Johnny No Mates so sitting in their Kop end with my Sheff U mate

No booking history required for home end....allegedly....
If they'd given some warning & split the lower tier 50/50 to give us another 1000, it would have given most people who were planning on going the chance to get their tickets, but i'm guessing it was all or nothing & that the sheepshaggers can't segregate the lower tier.
Home end
Fill yer boots in their end plenty left
Has Gary Madine accepted full responsibility yet?
u can buy tickets for the bramall lane lower, which is the bit we were going to get, my sheffield mate is going down there to get us a few
I'll bet the police and stewards can see a problem come Saturday afternoon.
They'll see an issue/problem when pints of piss are getting lobbed down below onto Sheffield Utd fans
Fuck me ill be glad when this match is done with.
With this and Bradford we've seen the biggest game of who's the bigger club / attendance / away following wankathon tennis that twitter has ever seen.
Who gives a fuck.
Precisely. What competition for crowds do they have around them? Rotherham, Barnsley and Wednesday. Like choosing between syphilis, haemorrhoids and gout.
Just tried getting 6 in their end. Purchasing history only now. So no joy
Had 7 tickets purchased in the home end yesterday, got a phone call from Sheffield ticket office at dinner time saying they refuse to send them out. Cross referenced my details with bolton and seen that I was on the system as a season ticket holder. Livid.
similar refusal for us. Bwfc snitching now
I would have thought the best way of getting tickets in Home End would be a walk-up on the day- in spite of all there cock waving they still seem to have plenty empty seats (against Scunts I believe there were 5k below capacity)
Looking at there on line sales it looks like they have only put 2 blocks on sale on the bottom tier out of the 3 available
Visiting Blade:
The reason it was 5k below official capacity is because of unsold away tickets and ridiculous segregation restrictions placed on us by SYP.
So the unsold away tickets & segregation carpet thing accounted for 5 thousand empty seats ? I think not, but then again, it'd be dead unusual for a Sheffield fan to bullshit about their massive support.

The picture half way down the page on the above link should show the extent of the segregation on the upper tier, and the unsold tickets on the lower.
4 posts further down from the photo; I wondered what happened to Tyler Durden.
