As that laggard Roygbiv obviously can't be bothered, I've had a quick shufti on Wanderers Ways. Should be interesting.

I don't think we took even near that when we were flying high in the PL, the lower tier was 2/3s if not half full that day
can't recall a decent following there any time in the last 20 years, all at a higher level
done ok at Sheff Weds, but no more than 2k over the last few years i wouldn't have thought

Then a lurking pig puts his tuppenorth in

your right pal sheff weds always been the better attended

The 2nd game I can remember being at was 1978 when we won there 5-1. All I can remember was the terrace to my right being an absolute warzone.

My memory of Sheffield United was a game in late 70s/early80s. We won 5-1 at Bramhall Lane and the local neanderthals were less than happy. I got a bit of a shoeing after the game and ripped the knees out of a brand new (that day) pair of jeans. Unfortunately it was long before torn jeans were a thing.

Been twice to Sheff U The 5-1 in 78 and the 2-2 about 10 years ago.
In for this one but Johnny No Mates so sitting in their Kop end with my Sheff U mate

No booking history required for home end....allegedly....

If they'd given some warning & split the lower tier 50/50 to give us another 1000, it would have given most people who were planning on going the chance to get their tickets, but i'm guessing it was all or nothing & that the sheepshaggers can't segregate the lower tier.

Home end

Fill yer boots in their end plenty left

Has Gary Madine accepted full responsibility yet?
u can buy tickets for the bramall lane lower, which is the bit we were going to get, my sheffield mate is going down there to get us a few

I'll bet the police and stewards can see a problem come Saturday afternoon.

They'll see an issue/problem when pints of piss are getting lobbed down below onto Sheffield Utd fans

Fuck me ill be glad when this match is done with.

With this and Bradford we've seen the biggest game of who's the bigger club / attendance / away following wankathon tennis that twitter has ever seen.
Who gives a fuck.

Precisely. What competition for crowds do they have around them? Rotherham, Barnsley and Wednesday. Like choosing between syphilis, haemorrhoids and gout.

Just tried getting 6 in their end. Purchasing history only now. So no joy

Had 7 tickets purchased in the home end yesterday, got a phone call from Sheffield ticket office at dinner time saying they refuse to send them out. Cross referenced my details with bolton and seen that I was on the system as a season ticket holder. Livid.

similar refusal for us. Bwfc snitching now

I would have thought the best way of getting tickets in Home End would be a walk-up on the day- in spite of all there cock waving they still seem to have plenty empty seats (against Scunts I believe there were 5k below capacity)

Looking at there on line sales it looks like they have only put 2 blocks on sale on the bottom tier out of the 3 available

Visiting Blade:
The reason it was 5k below official capacity is because of unsold away tickets and ridiculous segregation restrictions placed on us by SYP.

So the unsold away tickets & segregation carpet thing accounted for 5 thousand empty seats ? I think not, but then again, it'd be dead unusual for a Sheffield fan to bullshit about their massive support.

The picture half way down the page on the above link should show the extent of the segregation on the upper tier, and the unsold tickets on the lower.

4 posts further down from the photo; I wondered what happened to Tyler Durden.:D

In, +5 in their end... COYW

The above is probably BS, but if true I dont think they would have lasted 5 minutes if they were sussed out.
Also see they think they can get on the kop on the day.

I think South Yorks Police had their "Orgreave squad" up and mobilised ready for Millwall's flag day.

Now that's been cancelled I am sure they will be ready to crack a few Lancashire skulls instead, lets face it, it wouldn't do them much harm.

Don't tell Roy I read this will you???

The BL end accounted for around 3.5k empty seats with about 1.5k in the home end. Bellend.

To be fair, I suspect many have said the first sentence. Not so many about the Reebok though.

Don't you just hate it when opposition supporters get the name of the ground wrong, its the Macron® mate.... (I'm sure Sheffield supporters wouldn't like it if we spelt Bramhall Lane wrongly)

Not true.

Those unable to quantify a history of being a Blade are being denied from purchasing for this match.
Think we have got this all wrong Foxy, offering them Bramall lane lower and then retracting it has caused all this ,a lot of our away games are sold out and we then get offered another batch.Retracting them as just upset Bolton fans who think we are playing billy big bollocks.
Don't agree with there fans response but we have brought this on ourselves and it looks like the attendance will be effected by United being very cautious who they sell to. We must learn from this but let's turn the buggers over first.

Am I missing something? 1) are they saying they want to sit in our end?
2) are they anywhere near selling out their allocation (we've ever taken the bottom tier back off them haven't we?)
3) are they are aware that they'll likely get a kickin' if they come on our kop with a army of 5 of them!?

I would have thought Bolton would NOT want to get promoted, surely they fancy all those great games next season against Wigan and Blackburn, their north west neighbours who have equally poor attendance records ??

Bottom of Championship

Wigan Athletic

Blackburn

Rotherham

Yeah, isn't it annoying when a club takes the necessary steps to avoid risks to public safety? Set of bastards.

Although the truth is that SUFC are actually refusing tickets to any complete fucknut who has a traceable history of calling us 'Sheffield'.

Any game I've wanted to attend I buy ASAP to take the risk out of missing out.... however I have had to get "creative " in the past.

Last one was Exeter when I needed an extra for a mate. Arsenal first year in Prem when it was a ballot I think. Got tickets for both in home end.

Sure many on here have done this but only when you'd no chance the normal way, not tardiness!

Why have they all started complaining all of a sudden that they can't get tickets. They've been on sale weeks. Why wait till 5 days before.

Suppose its not like a 1st v 3rd game.. Muppets

It's ridiculous. If it takes that long to sell 2k tickets then how the feck are they entitled to 4k with 5 days to go?

And besides, they fucked us over in August so balls to them.

There going to come onto the Kop ,
Someone better warn em ,
Not to wear the three star jumpers , flares and platform shoes , ohh and nobody wears scarfs around there wrists anymore either .

Doubt if they would dare come on the Kop - they will try to get on the BL lower or it could be just BS

Have we actually taken them back against their will? Or did the Bolton board not want to risk getting stuck with unsold tickets ?
