Funny how none of them had any complaints about the ref other than their sending off. From where I sat I could see his yellow shirt appearing due to the black one over the top becoming untucked as he ran around.

I spoke to some very reasonable Blackburn fans after the game in the Sentinel, on the train, and in Leeds station and they all agreed that they caused us very few problems, that they never looked like scoring apart from the one decent save Henderson made, and that we deserved the win because we took our chances much better than them.

I also got a couple of good recommendations for Wigan pubs.

After 2 games against Blackburn this season I have decided that I actually like their fans.

The comments after today's match are a bit more in frustration at their own team which I can understand. They seem a pretty decent bunch.

Where are these challenges of ours that were worse than the Blackburn red? I didn't see any. Nothing worse than a talking to from us today, boggles the mind that we got a man sent off.

The "foul" Baldock gave away where he was a clear foot away from the man was awful, they both had an arm on each others shoulder but no feet were tangling and there was no pulling.

Blackburn fans seem quite decent overall to me, certainly a marked contrast to the utter bellends from Bolton. I think a few of them seem way over the top in their criticism of the team. They are half a season out of L1 holding their own and they looked well organised and hard working if a little lacking in inspiration.

Thought Blackburn looked like a really good promotion challenging league 1 side.

They play as a team with a nice keep possesion passing style
however fortunately for us they lack high quality players
their finishing was poor and they had poor penetration due to overpassing.
Some good patient build up play from Blackburn but our goalie hardly had anything to do all match.
