And I thought we weren't that good at doing what we are usually good at.

We sat in deep, got behind the ball and broke away well, but we are used to seeing us pinning the defence in the final third a lot more than we did tonight

Amazing feedback, cheers Roy!

“....sufc.... deserved all 3 points. They are a good side and the best team I have seen at Ewood so far this season.”

“Best team seen at Ewood” (stated again and again)

“Outclassed tonight”

Love it blades!!

The positive “men against boys” feedback is very similiar to what we were getting in our league 1 promotion season.
Bolton and Millwall fans also said we outclassed them at their place too.

I love Blackburn Rovers and their fans, very nice people they are !

But seriously, they are right and to me it was a perfect away performance. They didn’t press much so we didn’t over commit, had most of the ball, created, looked solid at the back and took our chances. Go piling forward and you run the risk of conceding.
Washington should have made it 3 and we need to get him up and running so we have more goals off the bench going forward. The quality of McGoldrick also seems to have knocked Clarke’s confidence.

How dare they not accuse us of punching some kids or an elderly disabled transgender Sikh?

Fair play to them they seem like a really good bunch of lads n lasses! Honest as owt and I genuinely hope they do well. Nice that we are now a club that other clubs aim to be, we have come a hell of a long way In a few years!

we were played off the park…and not by Barcelona or even Crystal Palace, I hasten to add…”

No, it was by Sheffield United

I said on the Billy Sharp thread that sitting in deep to break away was something we didn’t do last season when we were drawing. I like the dynamic nature of this side.

There are games like Villa and Bolton which we will totally dominate when we hit the early goal, however there are games like this where we have to sit in and invite teams on by maintaining possession deeper or even letting the opposition have the ball so that we can go with plan B

This win is almost as impressive as the Villa win as it was entirely different and required more thought.

The comments from Blackburn back this up
