A draw was a fair result because like them, we created next to nothing, even with all the possession we had.

They had 3 centre backs two wing backs and two defensive midfielders all with the strict instructions to stop us getting out wide
They constantly showed us inside
Only when Brooks and carruthers came on did we create any space with Leon pulling the centre backs out of position and Brooks getting in the gaps

For me Duffy and fleck had the responsibility of creating something down the middle but we constantly fed the ball out wide with o Connell playing as a secondary left winger but their three centre halves dealt well with crosses and the two midfielders just hoofed any second balls upfield to try and catch us on the break

Everyone will do this now when they come to the lane we need to start play g through teams better

We absolutely battered them. We turned up to play on the front foot and entertain and get the points. We did it quite well. They came to frustrate and nick a point, they did it very well.

If we play like that every week we'll easily be top 6.

Depends on how you view it. If you go to an away game at a team flying high and set up to frustrate and take a point and you achieve that do you not deserve that point? We may have looked the better team but only one team on that field got what they set out to get. not as if we had multiple penalty claimed turned down, their keeper played a blinder and we hit the wood work half a dozen times.

I thought the ref was good and they defended very very well. thus I agree they deserved the point.

We due need to a little smarter but I think the return of Baldock will make a big difference currently our attack building is coming mostly down the left and before Baldock got injured both flanks presented a risk which made us more difficult to defend against. Let’s hope he is back for Saturday and we can put Basham back into the back three

We played Brum in the cup not so long ago. They beat us at a canter and put 4 goals past us. It shows how far we have come that a draw and 35% possession is a good result.

I would agree with others that their brains must be addled with comments like we will be lucky to finish 10th etc.
