As a brummie, there's no way you can call Sheffield a shithole if you live in Birmingham. There are nice areas in Birmingham, nice areas to live in, fairly modern redeveloped areas of the city centre, and it gets a bad rep... but there is a lot of horrid post war architecture here, derelict buildings and generally grim areas you feel depressed just walking through.
 
If they go down we should nab Mcginn, great player on his day and huge potential to be even better than is already - wilder could elevate him to the next level.

No apparently we have no talent! For the first goal, Basham miscontrolled the ball, which accidentally caught the back of his heel and fell to Lundstram who lumped the ball into the path of Fleck's foot and luckily, the ball flew into the net. Didn't you see how McGoldrick' fortuitous overhead slice bobbled once more towards Fleck and bounced off him into the goal?
 
Not sure we should feel so good about that win because they were such a piss poor team, worst side by a mile to come to the Lane. What did they offer, absolutely nothing. Could/should have been four nil. Surely there can't be three worse sides in this division. Just what has Smith spent £130 million on ?

You have to have some especially tinted glasses on to not see we were superior in every way today, better individually, better as a team.

They looked a league below and that's generous.

I'm sure they'll splooge a load in the JTW and might be alright, but based on that, they'll need to.

Baldock made Grealish look like a prat with his mazy run into the box near the end, more effectual that Greasy had been all game and he's out fullback, and not even the super attacking one.

They were pretty poor but I always enjoy my team winning even if its a 4-2 thumping away at some non descript championship side

He's been generally very good for a couple of months now. Just had an "off-day" today (by which I mean Basham and Baldock and Lundstram marked him very effectively and limited his ability to influence the game, leading to him dropping as deep as his own 18 yard line late in the game in an ultimately futile effort to drive his team on and create something). And his penalty miss was enjoyable

Thought Villa would struggle this year from the off. They were unconvincing last year and spent most of their huge outlay in the summer buying the same players who had been on loan with them last season and wasting the rest on players like Wesley.

Oh come on give us some credit surely, after the dross we've had to endure under KM tenure with his shit appointments of manager's and always selling our best players finally we get a manager who knows what he's doing and his superb players and it's still worth a moan!!

Not sure how much Smith had to do with the signings.

But agree on Villa. Really poor, no plan, stuck their best player out wide
