Cheers Roy! Ahh, feels good being 5th tonight at the expense of these.
"Sheffield is a shithole" is exactly the sort of babyish, wanker comment I'd expect from the bitter Brummies.
Mind the gap lads...

Sheffield United aren’t a great side, they’re organised but they were there for the taking today – the Villa that played Liverpool would have battered them – they’re getting results and well done to them, I like their manager and they’re living the dream.”

Sheffield United will be in the bottom 6 next season. There’s always one team who gets promoted and has an excellent first 6 months but then falls away over the next 18. Their players should not be that much better than ours, we let them win with our abject performance

Looks like someone has found my peyote stash again.

I remember last year even some of our were lot were convinced that John McGinn was the best midfielder in the Championship. He struggled to be fifth best on the pitch today.

“First thing I’d do is ban gloves, 4 ? of them today complete fannies with gloves on, Wilder must have thought Christmas had come early.”

😂

I actually agree with him. I lose respect for footballers who ever feel the need to wear gloves.

First game that watching a poor first half but not worried as we will turn it around second half. My confidence level has reached the point where I wonder how are we not beating these teams as the game is going. Before, I hoped we can score and not concede. Bring on Albion, City et al.

I couldn't hear their fans today. They made a bit more noise last season when we destroyed them 4-1.

Was the applause from the south stand to grealish and vice versa genuine or piss taking?

Beautiful! Thanks Roy.Majority appreciate that we are a very good team, still a few Midland Morons👍

I can only assume you haven’t been to Birmingham recently. Very nice place. Down by the canal or up through the centre is very nice.
Actually I was there two weeks ago. The city centre is quite pleasant but many of the suburbs are awful. To me a city is about living, not just the expensive part in the middle.

If that's the quality of how they analyse and critique opposing teams no wonder they think that spending money is the be all and end all of what it takes to construct a decent side.

Overall, their comments were somewhere between appreciative of the Blades and self-pitying, they seem to imagine they have it within their powers to play at a far higher level. Time to get a grip I think, and recall the fact that they've been mediocre for many years. One thing about being a Blade, we're painfully aware of just how bad the last few decades have been. Reading the comments of the Villa fans reads like the outpourings of supporters who seem to think they are entitled to be successful, god they're pitiful and barmy.

Goodness me.
What a wonderful Saturday.
Morning walk over Kiveton Waters with our two daschunds
Toasted rye bread with Orkney Crab Pate (Co-Op at Kiveton) for brekky.
Lunch at the Pizza Express with Pepperoni overload for lunch.
Sheer joy on the kop after Flecky's second went in.
Couple of Doom Bars in the Loyal Trooper to celebrate.
Followed by a cracking chicken balti (Tandoori Hut in Anston) accompanied by a chilled Chenin Blanc.
If Carling did Sheffield Saturdays.....

Thank you, Roy :). Confused, perplexed lot only the last remark anywhere near the truth.

Comment of the day

“First thing I’d do is ban gloves, 4 ? of them today complete fannies with gloves on, Wilder must have thought Christmas had come early.”
That's Wilders tactical genius at work - he susses out the opposition wimps, then anonymously sends them a pair of woolly mittens.
We'll be top of the league by February ;)

“Sheffield is a shithole”

He must have arrived via The Wicker.
