He's been fantastic for us but I'm more in the Monty Python "he's not the messiah" school. He works very well with Alan Knill and is obviously a great man manager, but I'm just a bit concerned with the current media overdone love in. It smacks of the 'build em up / knock em down' mentality that we often see.

I’ve seen a lot of English manager hypejobs come and go, but the body of work CW has put together is ridiculous. I’ve always believed some of the hardest jobs in football are managing clubs in Leagues 1&2 and he’s smashed it everywhere he’s been and he’s taken over some absolute shambles.

Advice to you would be is to ignore the media. My local is the mighty Shrewsbury and when we almost went up two years ago the media was raising expectations way too high first half of the year and when we did fall down all the knives came out basically calling us bottle jobs even though we were relegation favourites start of the year and suffered through loads of injuries. Soured what should of still been a great year.

I’ve tried to watch your lot when I’ve had the chance and it’s great seeing the likes of Fleck, Basham and O’Connell running the show at tough grounds like Goodison and Stamford Bridge.

Feels a bit of a victory for the lower leagues tbh, seeing a team play the same way, with the same players as they had in the lower leagues and succeeding. The likes of Fulham and Villa get promoted, spunk money up the wall and forget their players that got them there left a bad taste in the mouth.

Remember that evening just over three years ago when you picked me up from Watford Gap? As we came down the Parkway with Radio Sheffield on they went to the Lane for the latest update and we'd just gone 3-0 down to Southend United.

This week we beat Arsenal 1-0 and Southend lost 7-1 at home to Doncaster Rovers. Talk about two very different sliding doors moments there.

I mean if you're going to do these vlogs try at least to not look and sound like piss heads (so funny one got refused entry) who do nothing but slag of the city or ground you’re visiting and give a bit of a view on the actual match other than just moaning how crap you are.

If the rest are like that (and I haven’t looked at it the tv ones on this thread yet) they have to be the most dislikeable fans I’ve ever seen, pigs excepted.

I wish nothing but misfortune on them and their club, horrible horrible set of total wankers.

The point of my plumbers comment comes across condescending I know but I rememeber booing Fleck for making sh*thouse foul after foul on Shaun Whalley when he played for Coventry ffs. Now he just bossed two full internationals for Switzerland and France .

Basically last night wasn’t a shock, anyone who’d followed lower league football would know you’d handle us and most of the teams in the league with CW at the helm. The guy for me is honestly one of the best in the world and all your boys are a credit to the club. I’d love to see him at Arsenal and thought so for years.

Best of luck this season lads, hope you’ll finish top half. And cheers for keeping Leeds where they belong last year, legends.
