Wow! 😁

Two Arsenal fans at work this morning:

1st one - Told you I wouldn't be surprised if you beat us.
2nd one - You play horrible football. That match was terrible. (then admitted he only saw the second half)

Wilder is a genius. Emery is clueless. They had no idea how to break us down, to get into us. We broke when we could and caused them problems all night when we attacked. Was a great game to watch.

United tie is proudly being worn today haha.

Cheers Roy! Thats nice to wake up to this morning.Good to hear us called plumbers by supporters who'll have to sit through another season having won fuck all behind Man City and Liverpool.

“After 61 years as an arsenal fan i am close to quitting, i have never seen anything as bad as this in all that time!”

Try years of winning nowt or 6 years in League One. Going to places like Yeovil on a Tuesday night and losing. Or worse, supporting Bury or Bolton etc.

This is why nights like last night mean so much more to us.

“We should look no further than Chris Wilder. He’s doing an excellent job with his team.”

He‘s getting noticed

To be fair to the bloke who made the "plumbers" comment, he was actually very complimentary about United in what he said.

I think he's actually taking the piss out of their other fans,

What a joy to find this waiting for me this morning before setting off to work. Wonderful job Roy.

Sorry to jump into your thread Roygbiv ,but this was a great compliment from a spammer in the Guardian.

How good are this Sheffield United side? That first half performance was just fantastic to watch, they had absolutely no fear and the way they found pockets of space between the lines was remarkable. Enda Stevens for me was the best player on the park, so great to see a lad who's knocked around the lower leagues suddenly performing on the big stage. I'm sure Sheffield United fans are used to it by now but it's only the second time I've watched them this season and it was incredible, as a West Ham fan I am dreading Saturday

Do they not need Plumbers in London? With the shit some of them have spouted you'd think they would be a necessity

being down here and in the thick of Arsenal fans, that made me smile, they will be licking there wounds for a while now..... 😁

That lad speaks so well. Intelligent, passionate and very pissed off.

Having said that, all those years in the top division has given them Liverpool like levels of entitlement. Imagine how suicidal some of these bedwetters would have been in our Adkins 'glory years'?

Funny and some great respectful comments from this lad and others on the 'View from', but it should be becoming clear that we aren't just here to make up the numbers.

Thanks for that Roy.

Interesting comment about 2.45 where he refers to Arsenal no longer representing him.

This is exactly the sentiments of a number of us on here at some stage during the Adkins season.

The realisation of the club to this and the appointment of Chris Wilder and Alan Knill could be one of the most significant points in our history.

From my Arsenal season ticket holding mate -

Congratulations mate, thoroughly deserved, out fought but also out played - enjoy your night

And Jamie Carragher seems to have a real love affair with us. What a journey we’re on.
