Foxy, you must have been stood just in front of me today. I was stood about three steps up towards the Handsworth Blades flag that was tied to the fence.

Shite first half, the half time bollocking clearly worked as we were different class after the break. Blackman's goal was absolutely superb. Some great banter on the terracing today between the fans and the players, especially the songs for Cofie and McAllister. Hilarious stuff and a proper day out.

Swiss, they are commonly known as The Pirates but are also known locally as "The Gas" which was due to their association with an old gasworks next to their old ground at Eastville.

We were a bit bemused by Porter's goal at the time, I think their defence expected the whistle and Porter reacted. Blackman's goal was a corker. Nice to be back on the terraces for a change, a good day out.

I thought the same thing when I watched it.

Football is such a simple game. If only Danny Wilson realised that a short corner is always the wrong option, and every corner should be crossed straight in; if only he understood that you should always have men stood on each post when defending a corner; if only he could see that having everyone back when defending a corner is always wrong - if only he recognised the simple rules of football, he could be as good a manager as the ones in the stands.

I found it a very strange ground, but that's probably down to it being a rugby stadium. The atmosphere was pretty poor by the United fans yesterday too, although that might be down to the open terrace that doesn't hold any of the noise.

"for f**ks sake" is pretty much my natural reaction to us being awarded a corner. It's nice to see us finally put one away.
