I cant make this one unfortunately, I'm taking the bit on the side to Spain for a few nights....oh.

Managed to wangle it so that i am away working in iraq so that she gives me sympathy...

I might consider telling mine that I'm just nipping out for a summer Green Un. She won't know that they've stopped printing them and if she gets the tit on I will tell her the clue was in the title. I was looking at getting home in July but luckily they arrived early in the GT news at the end of the street and I got back at the end of June instead. It's worth a go I feel.

As you are meeting my missus make sure you take plenty of cash so she doesnt spend mine !!

Tbf that's only fair and right. She spends enough of your coin when she meets up wi me co's I like to be pampered.

Glad to see romance is still alive, brings a lump to my boxers

Bristol is a nice city actually.
We like it.

Never seen us win at City.
Hoping for a cracker at the Rovers

Any suggestions on pre match drinking establishments?

Not even sure where the fecking ground is :o

Have United ever previously played at such an unromantic location as Bristol Rovers on Valentine's Day?

What the fuck is valentines day? Sounds like some money making scam to keep Clinton's Cards in business.

You're all mugs for jumping on the band wagon. Go out this week instead, much cheaper

Try The Annex just off Gloucester Road, I'll probably see you there, I'll be the one wearing the 1970's yellow and 4 black vees away shirt under my fooking big coat cos it's cold down at the Mem!

You wouldn't believe it, but I've got to go to Bristol on business on 14th Feb, coming back on the 15th (once sober)

"I'm sorry love, but on the plus side, what's the chances of such an uncanny coincidence?"

It cost me three days leave, two nights hotel, a very nice meal on the Monday night, Tuesday arvo shopping and most probably at least two bottles of Posh wine a night... Negotiations started and stopped with 'if you're going to Bristol, then I'm going to Bristol and you are paying,' and proceded to 'I WILL be watching say yes to the dress every night this week'. They know when they have us cornered these women types...

We had better win.

And I'll be almost sure that if you had to go the the ballet it would cost you a new pair of shoes, a meal and a bottle of wine and all you get is an ice cream at the interval and a false promise of a blowy after the show.
