What was it? Our 3rd kit?

Was it a rehash of the previous seasons away kit?

Answers on a postcard..........

Last seasons away kit. Walsall play in a red & black checked shirt so we couldn't wear either of our shirts.

Appeared to be a lime green training top to me. Adidas stripes went from the shoulder to the sleeve rather than from the neck to halfway down.

We should have played in skins then, we all know how Adkins cursed that kit.

Note to Wilder, forget PROZONE, means nothing - burn the old kits, stop at the tea lady.

I still don't understand why we had to wear this. Our black shirt doesn't clash with their home shirt at all. We could also have worn white shorts.

What a joke.

Still don't t understand why we couldn't wear our black shirts because of a clash with walsalls shirt, but the referee wore black? Why did his black shirt not clash when ours would have??? Wouldn't it have been easier to let us wear black and the ref change shirt? I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation but it's beaten me......

Weren't both keepers in similar colours too, which is another kit no-no? Disaster all round.

I struggle to understand how we couldn't have played in black shirts. Their home shirt is plain red on the back with a few black squares on the front. If they think the Orange Shorts and Socks clash, we could've easily worn the white shorts/socks that we wore anyway with the black shirt.

Their sleeves are red too so any player with long sleeves or inners would've worn red. Seriosly, whoever made that decision is mental.

That is NOT a clash...

Then to prove just how ridiculous a decision it was. Simon Moore was allowed to wear Luminous Yellow..

Seriously am struggling to understand the thought process...

Good thing is... We're still unbeaten in the Black kit!!

It's a shame that common sense can't prevail with this. Just like many other things.

I think all away kits need to be luminance colours (tbh i think it should be a rule), so no team ever has to mess around. I would agree yellow would be an ideal choice for us.
(btw I do love the black kits and have a number myself)

Is it the NFL where there's always one team in their first choice colours and the opposition in white (trimmed with their first choice colours)

duno but quickly researching found this at the top (Most teams choose to wear their color jerseys at home, with the road team changing to white in most cases. ... The NFL's current rules require that a team's home jerseys must be "either white or official team color" throughout the season, "and visiting clubs must wear the opposite".)
