I don’t understand why people assume the Police are flat out due to the Covid 19 quarantine?
Surely their workload must be hugely reduced, not increased?

Arresting people isn't as straight forward though.

If you were a copper, would you be wanting to be closely engaging with people who are ignoring rules? Probably the most likely people to have been flouting rules already.

What if someone looks poorly or / drunk / spitting when talking/shouting because drunk / etc. PPE full cover for all police? And there are lots of people too?

It's not as easy as just arresting people.

I find it crass even discussing this at the minute. 888 people died of Covid yesterday in hospitals in the UK. The constant stream of dates and planning coming from the Premier League is driven mainly by money. I get that we all want football to come back but it will when the time is right. It’s not the most important thing in the world - far from it.

Well they could just as easily stand outside Wembley or Burton’s ground so there is no benefit in planning around idiots like that.

It’s not the same scenario anyway, that game was played at their home ground in Paris.

This was also in the very early days of coronavirus before most people understood or accepted the scale of the problem.

St Georges Park is being considered due to the pitch being an exact replica of the wembley pitch.

Wembley is the main venue being considered if they go down the route of having most of the games in one place as it has so many hotels on site so is seen as easier from a logistics POV.
