We did more time wasting than they did, an unusual tactic at 1-0 down in injury time

I don't think the amount of possession is necessarily relevant.
Remember with Weir we loved having possession but never got anywhere fast or slow or, particularly, sideways. Now it is most often backwards.

No, we haven't lost the plot - we have a set of midfield players who have lost all confidence in accepting the ball, passing it, then moving for another pass....and repeat. Last year teams sat off us a lot, which they don't do now. People should go and watch Spurs retreating last season when Baldock scored to make it 1-1. Teams now operate differently against us. Credit to Burnley - they played how they always play and we had 61% possession and did virtually nothing with it.

CWAK should be given a certain amount of credit for KNOWING we had to change - this is why Berge was brought in and we tried this diamond formation v Burnley in the league cup game earlier in the season. We tried it a few times early on and jettisoned it. They were trying to modify how we played, it simply hasn't worked out how it was planned and it's resulted in us being where we are now - struggling to find something/anything that works.

We are more than likely doomed this season - what we need is a strategy for the Championship. That strategy for me is to ditch 3 at the back and revert to 4 at the back WITH full backs that push on. Leeds did it very successfully. I'd start with Ramsdale, Bogle, Egan, JOC and RND.
